Good catch, I did mistype that. But still would have to cycle through 'run' with the stupid push button to get back to 'off' so should have gotten some drips if there was a leakThe lift pump doesn't run in the ACC position, only in RUN and START.
I will update once I find out some more information. Getting my hands on a scanner today I’ll update with codes. I only attempted to start it after it died on me. After that I haven’t cranked it.I'm subscribing for updates. This is the first I've heard of something like this happening on the gen 3 EcoDiesel. It sounds like a fuel related issue, but I'm not sure what exactly happened. You don't want to run the CP4 pump without fuel, so don't attempt to start it.
Looks like warranty time.I got some codes. P0087 Fuel/Rail System Pressure Too Low. Seems to be dripping out of cylinder 5 injector.
They should.Right. I’m hoping maxcare covers it
Well that's new. The actual feed line is leaking? Or the injector body? I imagine if it was the return it'd run just... messierI got some codes. P0087 Fuel/Rail System Pressure Too Low. Seems to be dripping out of cylinder 5 injector.
With rolling computers it's hard to say how they'll react to unique circumstances. Could be the software says "low pressure? F#(% you, you get to walk home!" Years ago I met a Chevy engineer who only drove Fords because of some programming like that.I imagine if it was the return it'd run just... messier
