Just checking to see what most of yall are seeing for coolant temp? I only have a few hundred miles on mine, and seems I have to add a little bit of coolant to hit the line after a few drives, which was expected.
What concerned me a bit today, was today was the warmest day I have driven it, 51 outside, and I saw a temp of 220. Normally, 220 is nothing, but what would I see this august when it's 95 out is my concern.
My previous drives in 30 degree weather has never gone above 200 fyi.

I've seen 220 when it was in the 40s-low 50s. I don't keep it on the coolant temp and I do not have and SC, my engine is original. But I've seen it swing from 190s to 220 in 20 miles on a cooler day.

Ok, that's good to hear then. Prior to the SC, I never paid mind to coolant temps. I'd watch my trans temp on occasion when driving through the mountains on 39's, but never really knew what normal coolant temps were. Thanks SP!

203F/95C is the Gladiators normal operating temperature. Anything above it is getting hotter than normal.

Um..can you expand on this please? It is certainly not to be expected to constantly add coolant.. Unless you just meant one time after the first couple drives maybe?

I’ve added to the sc system once, and the truck system twice. Only a few ounces each time. Checked both this eve and they were fine.
