Good day everyone.
Seemingly there are nightmare scenarios floating around, hooking things up incorrectly, killing batteries or worse case some modules.

I just bought a noco genius 10 charger.
I needed a charger for another vehicle but now was wondering how I would go about charging the JT, or hooking it up for battery maintenance over the winter months when the car is not in use?
Do I need to separate the batteries and charge individually or do I just hook onto the main battery while everything is connected?
I would love to hear the correct way of doing this.

What about my compressor, can I just hook the clamps on the main battery? Do I need to worry about the aux wires? Can I hook it to the main while the car is running (should I first turn off and then turn the vehicle on again)?

Stuff I have never had to think about. Tbh I recently learnt I have been jumping cars not perfectly correctly, but so far no damage or issue...
Maybe dumb luck.

Compressor can hook up to the main, or any posts. Many disconnect the second battery.

The two battery system, when connected normally, operates as one. You can hook things up as you normally would any other vehicle. Same goes for a battery maintainer, it will maintain both. No need to disconnect either one. The only reason to disconnect either battery is if you've got an issue with one and are trying to recover or isolate it. If both are healthy, there's no reason not to leave both connected.

The only thing you don't want to do is bypass the IBS, so just make sure you hook up the grounds to the same place the ground wires come in from the body connections and not at the ground post directly. Otherwise, there's no concerns.

Yes I am happy with the Noco. Just bought a 5 to put on my Harley. My TJ is a 2020 so battery's are 3 years old and hooking it up one a week is keeping them charged and every thing appears good at this time.
