Truck runs fine but just doing a cleaning to start a benchmark. I can see just a tiny hole through all that gunk that's probably enough to keep the sensor working. At this pace, I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes completely clogged in the next 20k miles.

I cleaned the sensor to gauge how clean the GDE tune will keep the sensor. I'm also installing a catch can this week so hopefully things will be a lot cleaner going forward.

Will do. It's an ADD W1 catch can with their latest design to not trigger a light. They even advertise no check engine codes on their website. I'll do a review once I run it for a month.

Logged 80 miles so far, no check engine lights to report of yet. I have a good feeling there won't be any based on the revisions ADD made to it.

Have you drained it yet and how bad does the eco D put out vapor to catch? 20 more days still no codes?

Just installed mine, got a code within the first 2 drive cycles. P04DB. Emailed ADD and will see what they say. Ughh

Just about to hit 50k miles. I've no idea how this thing was still working since it was almost completely plugged up. It unfortunately came out fuzzy in the second picture, but there was also a decent sized goober of crud left stuck inside the hole in the manifold that I had to vacuum out before reinstalling the sensor.

Unfortunately, I received the same code but after 400-500 miles. But then again, I didn't cut the hoses as ADD suggested in the instructions. My cuts made the inlet and outlet hoses a bit longer than it was supposed to be. My outlet and inlet nipples on the can also weren't screwed down tight (there was not enough clearance to get a socket to tighten them down!), neither was the optional clamp holding the hoses on were tightened down properly (hated that small Allen screw that can't handle torque worth squat-mine rounded out!). I found oil vapor leaking from that area. So it's hard to pinpoint whether the code came on because of the installation error or that the can is flawed in general. I have since corrected the hose length and tighten down everything and use Teflon tape on every threaded areas. I will run a few cycles to see if this permanent code P04DB will clear itself. On the positive side, I did see a ML to 2ML of oil inside the can already.

Man that's just killer. I hope my GDE tune will keep things cleaner.

Definitely some design flaws in the can. Yes, the inlet and outlet pipes almost can’t be fully tightened down as whoever designed it left zero room to get a good bit on the socket part to tighten. You can tighten one side down, and that’s it. I used pipe tape on all threads, might try the o rings they provided for the inlet outlet pipes. They emailed me back asking for pictures of setup. Also super annoying you can only email them it seems. I am concerned as this doesn’t seem like the only can throwing a light. I followed the directions to a T. Ugh
