I just bought the maximus-3 3 tow loops. Should I install them on the inside or outside 9f the frame rails?

Thanks. I did the same.Maximus-3 shows them mounted on the outside of the frame rails on their website. So, that is how I mounted mine. So did my friend on his Gladiator Sport. So did another buddy on his JLR Wrangler.
None of us has had any problems.

WOW!!! Very scary and good thing you checked!!! What are you thinking of going to for tow loops?so , after 2000 miles in towing my JT with the Maximus tow loops , as i also do i check the hooks to make sure they are not coming loose, well today ... i notice alot of play in one of the hooks, well as it seemed the frame is cracked where the loops bolt into from the bumper , so i now need to weld that portion , i will probably take them off and go another route
I am going to put a DEMCO base plate , it seems to be the sturdiest, one thing i had a problem with at time was getting the tow bar clevis at times when the jeep was not perfectly straight. i think it was the length between the loops , typical that i have noticed on most plates is 19 to 24 inches.WOW!!! Very scary and good thing you checked!!! What are you thinking of going to for tow loops?
That damage looks like it was mostly caused by sideways stresses on the tow loops. So as a follow up here on this issue , here are pic from the damage of the MAXIMUS TOW LOOPS. I had to get the pieces welded , The Driver side also stared to crack . On picture shows the TOW HOOK bolt broken as well on the passenger side . The driver side was hard to tell that it started to crack until i took the hooks off as it was hidden. I have spoken to a few others that have had this issue. So just keep an eye out. I product is solid but the design on how it is bolted on lack support , too much force is given causing this issue .
