Just arrived. This is the kit less the subwoofers. Today was about 5hrs of getting the dash speakers in and the wiring in.
Tomorrow need to drill out for the sound bar speakers, test, tune and button it up.

First impressions are fair. The instructions are mostly there, but you have to go through a couple manuals, and I didn’t like the power wire running through the floor grommet so i ran it over the windscreen. Will check tho as I don’t want to cause a leak there either. Also the plate for the amp is not properly sized for the amps. Its a mm to small. And its nice and nutserted, but off so I could only do 2-3 on each.

Otherwise the speakers and wires and grills are all nice. The harness doesn’t plug back into the factory speaker plugs, you route new lines with factory plugs and its all fabric loomed like factory as well. It really didn’t add too much time to do that bit. Everything has to be ripped out anyway.

Everything looks decent and while I didn’t get the subwoofer, the kit has it all wired up for the third amp. So its a plug and play affair should I want to.

Will check back once all done.

I felt the same way. Mine (sub box and amp) arrived last week and I was really disappointed with the quality. My plastic garbage can has more structural rigidity than the sub enclosure. It is made of surprisingly thin plastic and It easily flexes when you pushed on any surface of the enclosure. Sealed enclosures are not supposed to do this. The amp is also pretty cheesy. If it was truly 400 watts as stated then is would be starving itself with the tiny power wire provided. This is definitely not the old MB Quart that was previously known for outstanding sound and build quality. I immediately packed it back up and mailed it back the next day.
Uggh. Thanks for responding. I’m glad it’s not just me. Cheesy pretty much sums it up. I knew this deal was too good to be true. I’m not sure what I’ll do. I should send it back, but now I have everything to install it. As curious as I am to see how it sounds, I think I already know the answer. Hopefully the speakers others are swapping out sound good.

If you are curious, I think you should go ahead with the install. It won't take much work to get it in the truck. Its possible that it still sounds decent. I was unsure from the start about giving up the storage space below the rear seats, so I didn't even give it a chance. The Jeep Beach coupon initially made me feel like I was getting a deal, but once I got my hands on it, I felt like I had still overpaid.

Thanks to everyone for posting their thoughts. Mine should be here tomorrow. I will probably install it as a short term solution to add some more bass. I know I will eventually go with the JL Audio Stealth box. Leaning towards doing a similar build as we did in our daughters Jeep.

Rest of the install went well, and I am quite pleased. Down the freeway it cleanly drowns out all the wind noise which was really bugging me with the factory setup.
I wish there were more EQ settings on the factory head unit, but EQ settings aside, I feel it was a good update and has distortion free ooomph that was sorely lacking.
The interface it comes with (AmpPRO) also has optional optical out as well so a separate DSP could be used, along with a sub woofer.
All in all, I like this setup. Its expandable and came with everything needed.

Edit- added pics of the underseat amps

Did you hook the 6x9's up to only one of the speaker leads or did you use both leads on each side?

One lead per side, the tweeter plugs left unused.
The kit replaced the wires to the speaker bar, but re-used the harness within the soundbar to connect the speaker pair.

I already commented on your reddit post, but that purple slaps and I love it.

Ha! Replied to ya there. And thanks! I get such a kick out of them myself. It’s bold with the red and purple, but damnit, it’s mine and one of a kind!

Going to give this a shot. Just purchased the 6x9s and the 3.5s for the upper dash. I have the premium audio and really don't mind it. If this improves upon it, great. If not, not too much lost. The code still works btw

For some that are thinking of trying another way, you can buy just the bracket and grille from MB Quart which comes with the adapter harness for the soundbar. I opted to change the dash and upgrade soundbar to the 6x9's using Kickers. In the process of installing now and also purchased a 10 in sub which I will build my own enclosure for under the Rt Rear seat. The dash speakers alone make a huge diff.

Thanks! After reading some of the "so so" reviews above about the other components above I was thinking of doing exactly this. Would love to hear your impressions of just the 6x9 swap alone. I am not into the huge audio systems anymore....but I was very very underwhelmed by the sound coming from the soundbar...which is just literally inches from my head.

Ok good people of the Gladiator forum. I was on the fence with this one. In fact, I almost fell off, but @SFLJEEPER talked me into keeping the dual subs and cheesy amp and installing them.

So I’m 9 deep on my 16oz 12 pack of Miller, but I finished the install about 45 minutes ago. I can honestly say, I am very, very surprised at how good it sounds. I have the Alpine system and my first impressions is this is EXACTLY what I needed! It’s actually rocks. This is how the stereo should have come stock!

Install was fine. If you’ve installed an amp and subs before, you can do it. Just like everything else it took longer then exprctwd. I have OCD so I took my time, made it look good. You have to really think your installation out ahead of time because the harness and cheesy ass amp are ridiculous. I bitched to myself the entire time about the $360 or whatever I spent plus another $75 to make it work, but I have to admit it was worth it.

knowing what I know now, I would buy the subs and enclosure and skip the amp. You can buy it without the amp. The amp isn’t bad, but the harness is 1000% piece of shit. The harness is proprietary to the amp so you have to use it.

I’ve been sitting here in my rig actually enjoying the stereo with the top off!

With the 40% off coupon it’s a no brainer.

Questions? I’m happy to help.

Well, glad to hear you like it! I just pulled the plugs on the subs and amp and got it ordered. So glad to hear a skeptic converted. Everything else exceeded my expectations so that sub should seal the deal.

Awesome! I’m a believer for sure. I’m outside listening to music right now while I clean up. Let me know if u have question for what you need to make it all work.
