I did not have to cut at all I just lifted the right rear up off the ground from the frame so the tire would drop but the 2" lift probably helped then I just sneaked it out.

I also actually painted the spare tire heat shield with high heat primer and high heat flat black, b/c with the MBRP you see a lot of it and it bugged me LOL

The charge pipes have ports in them! I have been doing some research on how to best adapt a water injection kit to cool EGR's on long uphill grades while towing.

Would you take a peak at the charge pipes (the side running into the engine, Not the hot side) and let me know what ports are available? If there is any way you can tell I am very interested in the testing.

My hope is there are 2, but even if there is only 1 per pipe I could make a system work.

The benefit would be under full load, and reducing EGT's. I have seen them hit 1590 taking it easy up hills towing....

I did see threaded ports on them for "added sensors". If they ever ship them I will send you pics but STILL no shipping date on my backorders. The install guide talks about the ports but they do not appear to be that large.

Well the AFE intake arrived yesterday so that’s a start. They tell me the charge pipes are supposed to ship “soon”. Debating on installing the intake now but you’ve got to remove the air box section to do the charge pipes. Was hoping to do all at once but…

You got your intake? AFE Momentum HD? Wow. I'm jealous. Been waiting since early June for mine. Still no news.

Well here’s the AFE intake installed. You definitely hear the turbo now. Watch the rubber when you close the hood first time it pushed the rubber down blocking the opening. Tubes are shipping g in a week or so I’m told. Also the sensor hole in her plastic section needed a tiny bit of filing to get the sensor in. Lastly it add a bigger washer to the mounting bolt it started to compress the plastic.

The dyno sheet on their site shows +39 lb/ft. That's still a tall claim. I'm going to attempt to dyno test it myself when I get mine.

Don’t know I do t have a dyno access but not sure where your seeing those claims.
This page for the intake has no dyno numbers only flow rate so I’ve not seen any for this. The charge pipes they have tested for 10ft-lb that page has a dyno number but not the TD intake. Maybe the gas one has it but that’s not applicable for the TD and still isn’t that high a claim. Can you share the link to the specific 39 lb/ft?

ah I got the pro 10r option odd they have a chart for the guard7 not the other though. Interesting since they all have the same 23% flow increase.
