Has anyone removed this media cover from the dash

Why would you want to? Protects the usb ports from water.

it's not that I want to, but I know what will happen if I plug into it with others in the truck "snap" then I'll have to replace it

What ScottBeach said. I have rinsed my dash, console, windshield, etc. on numerous occasions.

Get a 90 degree usb cable and leave the cover closed all the time. That is what I did

I think the Media lid might actually protect those USB plugs. IMO lol

I understand the issue the OP is trying to address. I hope the suggestion of a 90 degree cable relieves the issue.

Has anyone removed this media cover from the dash

Accidentally removed mine, broke it off not sure how. Best think that could have happened. No need for 90 degree connect And I don’t have to worry about it being in the way

My '20 has covered rear ports too.
