Finally bit the bullet a couple of months back and ordered an MC 3.5" Gamechanger lift with an assortment of other goodies. Was originally going to go with 2.5" lift and stay with my 35" tires, but I ended up telling someone to "hold my beer" and got semi-stupid. So I went with a 3.5" kit, an RPM 2.5 ton aluminum steering kit, new Adam's drive shaft, Revolution re-gear (5.13), along with Arizona Desert Racing shocks at all four corners. Swapped out my black Method 703 for polished Method 315's (thanks Discount Tire!) and wrapped them in 38x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. While I can replace a bumper (marginally well) and can install a Bestop sunrider top, installing the lift, re-gearing, driveshaft, etc. isn't anywhere near my wheelhouse. So all of the work was done at Venture Offroad AZ in Scottsdale. They did a fantastic job keeping me from going too nuts and were excellent to work with. I think they did an outstanding job and I can't say enough good things about them.

Really enjoying the truck so far, although my old fat self has to jump and pull in order to get into the truck now, as I have not decided on what potential step to get.

I had originally planned on going with Fox performance elite shocks, for the adjustablilty factor, but they were at least another 30+ days on back order. The shop suggested Arizona Desert racing shocks as an alternative, and they seem to fit the bill perfectly. Smaller company based in Tucson, but man these shocks are awesome. I haven't done any adjusting with them yet (still too dang cold to experiment) but I'm looking forward to it.

This is my first "lifted" jeep or truck of any kind and although I was worried about how it may handle once the work was done, but I have to say, this thing is awesome! Handles great and the milage aint half bad. I think I averaged close to 19 mpg while breaking in the new gears and close to that on the way home after the break-in process.

Very happy with the whole thing and I'm glad I didn't wait too long and can start to enjoy it. No regrets at all so far!

The shocks are great. Excellent ride so far, although I haven't had a chance to really try them on different types of terrain yet, but so far they are nice a smooth and handle the massive potholes with ease!

Yes! Very suprising but the break in period was at a nice and slow pace never going over 60, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. That and the new gearing. Now that I'm back to my normal commute its back to the low teens, so it was fun while it lasted!
