Is the poke illegal in Ontario or other concerns? Otherwise I just switch to -12 offset but on mickey thompson wheels. Bounced offroad with them a bit last weekend they're fine, not your size running 285/70 on them.

Just wanted to see what it looked like and if I liked how much poke there was. Also maybe ball joint issues down the line and my paint. If I keep them I'll probably put the recon fender extensions on to help out. I don't think there is an issue in Ontario with tire poke, every other redneck has about -3ft offset on their diesels up here 😁

Great looking Glad! I’m digging that front bumper. Which brand is it?

I have herd that the ideal is +12 or so. Factory is about+44.
On the wide axles (diesel, HA, rubicon, mojave, maxtow) i really like the look of +25. Sits very flush with a 315 or 12.5.
They didn't make the wheels I wanted at +25 so i had to suck it up and go +6 and then cover my mistakes with XR fender flare extensions (i don't like poke)

Did you get 'em yet? Mine arrived today, so I had to get them fitted onto my Rubicon. Method 703 -12, Falken AT/4W's in 35x11.50. Definitely love that little bit of poke.

It's funny you should ask. My tires just showed up this afternoon. 703s come tomorrow. Yours looks awesome. I think I f'd up and should of gotten the 11.5 and not the 12.5. Oh well who doesn't like a little more poke, I know the wife has never complained lol

Those of you with the -12 or 0 offset 703s, what lift are you running?

I'm in the early stages of building out my 2021 JTR and new to Jeeps so I'm currently torturing myself trying to find a compatible set of parts or fill in the gaps in what I understand. I'd prefer to run a 35x12.50 tire, possibly a 37x12.50 in the future. I'd also prefer less wheel poke over more.
Here's what I've found:
  • Metalcloak requires 4.5" or less backspacing for their 2.5 or 3.5 Gamechanger lifts. The only Method wheel I found that meets this is the 304.
  • Same for Rock Krawler's 3" mid-arm lifts
  • Teraflex says 4.75" or less is OK
  • I can't find this on their site, but it looks like Clayton also recommends 4.75" or less.

If I have to run spacers, I'd rather just buy new wheels. It's obviously backwards to base the suspension lift around wheel choice, but overall this feels like one of those dependency triangles where I get to pick which thing I can live without. Help a newbie out! :)

I just ordered Method 703s in a -12 offset but I think I made a mistake and need 0 offset. Does anyone have pics of the 703s in a -12 offset. I've seen pics of the 0 offset. This is going to be a pain in the ass if I have to ship them back when they get here.....
I just put on the 701 with 0 offset (4.75" backspacing). Here is the amount of "poke" I have with stock Falken Wildpeak tires and no lift.
Method 701 -- 17x8.5 | 5x5 | 0/4.75"

The -12mm offset will mean a backspacing of 4.28, so you will have .47 inches more "poke" than this.

I emailed MetalCloak prior to buying my 2.5" Gamechanger lift and Will said these wheels will work fine. I've since installed the lift and there were no fitment issues.

Sweet. That's closer to what I'm after. I did hear back from Metalcloak since posting. They said up to 4.75" backspace on the rubi's is good to go. I wonder if the 703s in 0 offset/4.8" stated backspacing will work or if the 0.05" is just a hair too much. The 703s are about 4.5 pounds lighter
