89-94 I spent 4 1/2 years in Clovis, NM at Cannon AFB. I repaired F-111 instruments and flight controls. I spent 5 years after that in the Texas ANG doing the same thing on F-16s, but being a weekend warrior was too political and it became cumbersome. Left all things military in 1999.

My oldest has been in the USAF for 6 years and is currently stationed in Korea.

Been a good long hard ride but the old body is getting worn out and broken down so it’s time to go do some driving and sightseeing while I’m still able.

Now if Jeep will just come back out with Gobi or any number of earth tones I’ll have something to go in.

30 years USMC active duty from '82 - '12. Only continent the Marine Corps didn't send me to was the Antarctic. But I got real close going through the Straits of Magellan.

Swore I'd never get involved as a civilian but they threw stupid money at me to conduct operational planning and spend a fair amount of time in middle east. 2.5 years later I was done done....

The ones I'd like to thank are all you U.S. civilians---your tax dollars supported our military to include our training and operations in all sorts of great and hell hole locations. For those of us lucky enough to make it to retirement you are providing us with retirement pay and medical support through the VA.
