Going to Moab this fall and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or favorite hotel/motel to stay in. Thanks

Stayed at My Place Hotel, it’s the first one on the left as you cross over the river. Seemed like a newer hotel so things weren’t outdated. It’s nice if you don’t want the downtown traffic, it sucks if you want to walk around downtown and enjoy yourself then walk back home.

My better half is a fancy pants, so we stay at Sage Creek. Awesome units with great amenities.

We have stayed at a number of the larger hotels in Moab over the last decade and have not had a bad experience. Now we are snow birds, we just stay in our motorhome and boondock out in the desert for several weeks..

The Super 8 is pretty good. I've stayed there a couple times, but the rates can vary. I only stay there when it is on the cheap side. I would imagine fall isn't bad.

We're going in mid-October and are staying in a condo about 5 minutes south of Moab. We've got 7 people, so it isn't too bad at just over $2k for 6 nights.

It all just depends on what events might be happening. During Easter Jeep Safari, the prices go through the roof at some places, while the condos don't fluctuate as much.

Hoodoo Moab, Curio Collection by Hilton

The restaurant there has been pretty good; it wasn't up to par a couple weeks ago, but it was lunchtime; we've never dined there during lunch.

We stayed at the Quality Suites both times we went, and it was fine.

For us it was nice that the Dominos, a well stocked grocery store, and the Moab Brewery were right across the street so a meal or grocery items was easy to grab without driving.

Regardless of where you stay, go eat at Moab Diner once. Great stop.

I stayed there in July and it was nice. For EJS I could not justify the cost. If I recall there rates jumped up.

Yeah, I checked rates in Nov and they were <$200/night. Off season rates FTW. Might be able to drag the wife out there at those prices.
