Mojave bottoming out

I have a 2021 Mojave that seems to bottom out on areas that I wouldn't think it would. On road and off. View attachment 206068 I took picture of tag on coil spring. I was hoping that maybe wrong coil was placed on it at the factory. I can't find this number anywhere. Anyone have any

It will do better than any other gladiator soaking up bumps, but you can’t go bombing through the whoops.

looks like, based on the muddy-ness, you might be expecting too much.

That's the same part number as my '21 Mojave has on it for the front springs.

That's just from riding thru field. I haven't even been truly offroad. I was just wanting to make sure all was good. When you had to take back to dealer to get castlenut tightened too spec can't assume anything.

Curious what you mean by bottoming out? I have noticed when i hit a pretty good bump it will engage my bump stops, makes a little sound when it hits.

Yeah the hydro bumps will engage 2-3" before you actually bottom out and they will sound like a fairly solid hit since they're going to be stiff.

Yes the bump stops are definitely
engaging. I was just making sure that this is normal. As sonoranmojave stated nothing would by any means. Also happens on the roadway.

It bottoms out easier at low speed compared to high speed hits. By bottoming out I mean the axle engages the bump stops. It’s not truly bottoming out.

Probably fairly normal. My new King bumpstops engage when I hit a speed bump at 30. Lol

You are not bottoming out until you bottom out the Mohave hydraulic bump stops. So, this is a double hit. A small thunk when you engage the bump stop and a huge jarring hit when you bottom out the hydraulic bump stop. For us with Rubicons, when the rubber bump stops hit, it is very, very jarring - almost like you landed on a rock with your frame, so, unless you are feeling something like that, your hydraulic bump stops are not bottoming out.
