Mojave Fox suspension making rubbing sound

Have a new 2021 Mojave and all of a sudden started hearing a "rubbing" sound. First I thought it was tire hitting fender or something stuck in tire well but there was nothing there. I'm fairly confident it's now the Fox shocks making the sound. Anyone have similar issue or solution?

There are a few threads on it. Wipe some silicone grease on the shock shafts near the seals. The good news is this means they aren’t leaking.

It’s just a consequence of the “high performance” parts used in the Mojave shocks. Shock seal squeaking can be common on a lot of higher end shocks, especially when cold.

You’ll find a lot of Raptor owners complaining of similar issues.

As mentioned above put a little bit of silicone on the shafts and it’ll go away for a while.

Alternatively, drive faster over rougher terrain and keep the shocks hot. They won’t squeak then!

Awesome. Thanks for the replies. I read a bunch of the other posts you guys mentioned and when I called my dealer I was shocked when they said they had never heard of the problem. BUT i am pretty sure I am the only person who owns a Mojave edition in Canada haha.

Hey, the tundra and the desert are very similar, just slightly different temperatures!

I also read these threads because my Mojave is making the same noise but my truck is at the dealer right now for it and yesterday they said they are ordering a set of rear shocks to try and fix it.

Well they told me my rears are over 2 months backordered so hopefully they aren't leaking too bad

Service advisors are taught day one to say to a customer you are the first one even if there is 10 people waiting for the same issue.
