Your ARB Bondi is an awesome bumper. Old Man Emu and ARB make great products that will last. If I had an ARB on mine, it wouldn't get changed out.

Good looking JTM
Thank you sir!

Absolutely, that ARB quality is top tier!

My friend wants to buy my Mopar Steel bumper that I installed on my Mojave so I just ordered a Rugged Ridge HD full width bumper and X-Striker! From the threads I’ve read, the Mojave skid plate works without trimming and I really like the looks of the
X-Striker and high clearance bumper! I’ll post photos after the installation!

Are you still running the 37’s with no lift? How’s it been doing? No rubbing?
I added 2” AEV spacer lift and 1.5” wheel spacers a month later because I already have it on hand. But during the time without the lift, (just fyi this is) the 37x11.50R17 did not rub at all on stock suspension. I‘ve taken it to Joshua tree, Big bear, and power line roads doing Mojave stuff, no rubbing what so ever. I run them on 30-31psi for roads and 15psi while wheeling. So far no issues throughout.

Yes, confirm that the RRHD bumper fits with stock JTM skids w/o mods.

Question I have is I have a Rubicon with the plastic bumper and currently looking at the carnivore mid width bumper. Would this work with the oem skid plate I currently have? If not are there a list of bumpers that would work with it?

The Mojave skid plate is the same as the Rubicon, only painted silver. That should help narrow down bumpers that will work. From what I have seen, there are not many that work with the OEM skid.
The Mojave skid plate is completely different from the Rubicon. The Rubicon skid mounts directly to the steel bumper. The Mojave skid does not mount to the bumper.

Um, wrong. I suggest doing a little research on this forum as it has been hashed out many times.

For your reference:
A stock Rubicon comes with a plastic bumper and steel skid plate.
A stock Mojave comes with a plastic bumper and steel skid plate.
The only difference in the two is the color. Silver/Mojave, Black/Rubicon. They are the exact same bumper and skid plate.

The optional Mopar Steel Bumper has a proprietary black steel skid plate that has a frontal lip that bolts to the bottom of the bumper. It only works with the steel bumper. You cannot interchange skid plates for the plastic bumper with the steel bumper without modifying the plate or the bumper.

I have all three skid plates in my garage. Well, I take that back, the steel bumper skid plate is on my Mojave; the Rubicon stock skid and the Mojave stock skid and laying side by side. Exactly the same except for paint. Along with two plastic bumpers. Exactly the same except for the painted tow hooks.

As I stated in my post, I was referring to the steel bumper skid plate which is completely different from the plastic bumper skid plate. We have a miscommunication, that’s all.

Finally got around to swapping bumpers. I sold my Rubicon steel bumper to a friend and installed the Rugged Ridge HD full width bumper on my Mojave along with an Apex 12000 LB winch. I also purchased the Rugged Ridge X-Striker Bar which really adds a great look! Installation went smoothly except for a couple things.

First, the winch positive power cable needs to be relocated from the back of the winch to the side of the winch to clear the grill. It’s a tight fit. This required removing the winch top covers, drilling a hole in the cover and rerouting the cable. It wasn’t hard to do, just a little time consuming.

Second, due to the fog lamp location being more central on the bumper, I need to remove a couple of frame harness clips to gain the additional length to plug in the fog light harness.

I ran out of daylight and still need to hardwire the winch and reinstall the Mojave skid plate. That will be a job for next weekend. In the meanwhile, here’s a couple of preliminary photos! I think the combination looks great!

I ran the Arcus but changed out to the Barnes but then realized I don’t need that front skid and cut the frame horns and went EVO

I see you have the MetalCloak relocation bracket on the falcon stabilizer. For the fox are you just using the stud that came with it? Mine rubbed a tiny bit on the tie rod, but I was told the MetalCloak bracket wouldn’t work for the fox ats.
