Mojave help from the offset / backspace gods...

I've been looking for some bronze wheels for a LONG time for my Mojave and when I saw the crazy deal on these Method Wheels at @Quadratec I jumped on it. Method 312 17x8.5 with 4.75 backspace & 0mm offset. Did I get a great deal or totally F@ck up??? Just curious if anyone can give me an idea of how these will work and what they'll look like.

0 offset sticks out about 1 inch passed the fender on Rubicon/Mojave with 35x12.5 or 315/70. with stock tires, about 1/2 an inch.. Here is the "poke" with 0 offset on 315/70/17

That is an awesome tool! So, it looks like the new wheels will stick out 1.46" farther. I can definitely deal with that. Thanks!

Your tires will appear to be wider with those rims. Like loosening the belt after the buffet.
If you decide to step up to 35s you can get them in 11.5 width, which would keep that poke where it is with the stock 33s.
I've been thinking about doing the bronze rims too. That's a great deal!

It’s a bit more difference than 1.46” when comparing your original tire size - 285/70 37mm to a 315/70 - 0 offset. That’s a great calculator to play with when looking at wheels.

Just a word of caution, if you EVER plan on adding a lift, those wheels won't work with most of them.

Most lifts call for 4.5" or LESS of back spacing.

That is exactly what I was looking for. Love that look. What 35x10.5 tires are you running. I was considering that size when I upgrade the tires.
