Montana gone crazy

Major winds last night. Power here was out for 10 hours which is highly unusual. 110mph winds recorded in Missoula, also extremely unusual. I think that's the highest wind recording in several decades. Unfortunately that probably just ruled our wildfires like crazy!!

Good day to own a Jeep, and just drive over all those downed trees.

We had gusts up to 90 yesterday here in Boise.
No rain or thunder though which I was really looking forward to.

That is some bizarre weather, at least no tornadoes that is what we get here in the Midwest.

There was one that touched down I think in Great Falls just a couple weeks ago. Yeah our weather here has been absolutely bipolar the last couple years. very bizarre

Wind wasn’t too terrible in my hood, seen worse for sure, but the rain was flooding my backyard and was coming up on patio. Lighting and echoing thunder to go with. Hell, it was even leaking past the damn awning. It all happened in less than few minutes too and lasted for an hour. Went to friends house for dinner and tried the desert route. Desert was so trashed and bug dust turned into grease even my old faithful go anywhere ZJ wasn’t having anypart of that last night. Both limiteds were locked, Cooper STTs just clawing for anything to hang onto, and I said the hell with this, too lazy for this tonight. 110 MPH winds, man that is biblical, really. That had to have found the chinks in some buildings armor last night.

HOLY CRAP, we plan to be there August 9th! I hope it settles down.

The weather has been really bad here this year too…but that is really wild, given where you are.
