Love my Clayton 2.5” Overland plus with Falcon shocks. Netted me 4” of lift.
i’m in the market for a new lift. deciding between MC and Clayton. I was looking at the 3.5 however after your comment that makes me wonder about how much the 3.5 is going to go up. Any driveshaft angle issues? Can you PM me a few pics? TIA

I’ll pm you some pics but no issues with driveshaft at all. My buddy has the 3.5” overland plus and runs 40’s. I wanted to be able to get my JT in my garage. With the 3.5” which provides a touch over 5” of lift my Jeep would have had to live outside. I also think 40’s are pushing it for factory axles so the 2.5” with 37s and 5.13 gears is where I think the sweet spot is.

Totally agree and that's what I have. It's definitely the sweet spot.

Not sure if it applies, but they took good care of me with the military discount. Love their 2.5 as it’s a true 2.5…or more. It’s 3.5 in the front and 2.5 in the back. Any more and honestly I think you’d need 37s just because it wouldn’t look right.

This has been my internal battle as well, with the Clayton lift you’re looking at additional $1k vs. the Mopar lift.

buy once, cry once. And then live happily because you won’t be wondering if you made the right choice then decide to start upgrading all over. I just bought the Clayton overland + lift and while I haven’t installed it yet, the components are second to none. When I opened the box and saw the size and quality of the lower control arm and the joints, I was like “holy sh*t”. I couldn’t believe how nice and hefty the parts were. It makes mopar look like rough country components and you can pick your shocks. I have always been a fan of fox shocks, but to be honest, I test drove a JT with the mopar lift and hated the ride. It’s was very uncharacteristic for anything with fox shocks. I bought the performance series which I have had on other trucks and loved each time, so I have to assume it’s with the valving in the mopar spec fox shocks or maybe even the springs they went with in the mopar lit, but it wasn’t what I was expecting at all.
