I have never been "ducked" and always see dashes of jeeps with full of ducks. I'm convinced they buy them for themselves.
Most of the Jeeps that I see with the bath toy ducks are Wranglers driven by women.
No Glads in my area with toy ducks.
Was wondering what the ducks were about.
I seriously thought the ducks were there to float away when the driver drove into water. LOL
I always thought Jeep owners were "batwing crazy" & suffered brain damage.
Bought my third Jeep in March & my fourth on 30Jun of 25.
It was a mini thing before jeeps, and there are zero rubber fowl on my mini or my jeep
Was not aware Mini Cooper has this.
Both my Glad Sport "S" & 08 Mini Cooper "S" have been so much fun, I know I will face more trouble with the law. Traded the Mini due to the bad New Orleans streets creating carnage below.
As a Linux fan, there may be a "Tux" the penguin in my Glad, but no toy duck.

The toy ducks seem to be a fun, harmless & humble pursuit that keeps owners engaged, & that seems to be a very good way to remove barriers.

Just have to learn more as I go........................................

They come down when going off road - one way or another.
Ducks don't last long on the dash on sand dunes. They also don't last very long when the doors are off.

Agreed.

I don't care who has what on their dash.

It makes people happy, let them be happy.

At no point in my life am I going to be miserable and angry at shit that makes other people happy and hurts me in no way.

Every duck on my wifes Jeep was given to her, or me, directly, usually by a child, who was so happy to see another Jeep.

I could be a real man and tell the little downs syndrome girl who raced up to give me a batman duck in the parking lot to get that sissy commie crap out of my face you little loser... And then post on the internet about what an alpha I am...

Or I could so, OMG what an amazing duck! Thank you so much! Here I have one for you too!

And go about my day, cost me nothing to make those people happy, why shouldn't I?
^^This^^

Never amazes me the weird crap people get upset about. Don't like ducks... okay. Always amused and weirded out that some start stomping their feet over this?

I once got a mini bottle of vodka left in lieu of a duck once, so even though the amusement of the duck thing has passed that was amusing.

Alot of people just live to wake up and decide what to rage about today, then run around and post all over the internet to get the approval of their chosen group.

Same with wheels, how trucks are lifted, whether or not their mirrors are out, who's marrying who, who bought what...

I have a pretty good life. 14 year old me wouldn't believe it. I choose ot just be happy and enjoy what I have and let miserable people wallow.

What I find "amusing and weird" is how people say they don't care about what others do to their Jeep, yet are triggered by those who disagree with them on what they like to do with their Jeep. I am weirded out by the double-standards :CWL:

I've noticed the Jeeps with a dash full of ducks never wave.

They cant see you waving due to all the ducks piled on the dash!
But thats ok. I dont wave to "Jeepers" with bath toys on their dash or angry grilles.

What was I disagreeing on exactly? I'm more ambivalent to the whole thing these days. Was fad that faded at this point. I couldn't really care. Was an observation and yet you still felt like stomping your foot more over an opinion, yes it was just that, but I didn't say it was wrong or actually cared if you didn't like them. But thanks for making my point. ;)

The grizzled Jeepers around here won't wave at me half the time even when there are no ducks on my dash... something about driving a mullet or the like. Or so one half jokingly told me once.
