Looking at these two lifts trying to decide what to do they’re going to go on my Rubicon are the shocks on the Mopar lift a big improvement over the stock Rubicon shocks?
The TeraFlex kit is called the ST2 kit comes with falcon 2.1 shocks are those better than the Mopar lift kit shocks help me decide if I’m trying to figure out which way to go

And another question I’m thinking about putting a lift on before I get my tires is that gonna look really stupid or should I get my tires first and then the lift the last part of the equation will be a regear what is the best order to do these things in

I like the Mopar 2" I put on. Shocks are firmer then the stock but it is a very good ride. I will take a look at the ST2.

EEhh, Looks like a nice kit but I don't favor spacer kits, this is part spacer kit. Seek other opinions though.. Other may like the shocks. Same price. Edit- It's only doing 1 end with sway bar D/C. I thinks for a basic kat at these price levels, i want 4 springs and 4 shocks. Are you thinking about any other kits? What is the target tire size? Plan the kit and tires together and get them install same 2-3-4 days.

This AEV caught my eye till I saw the relocation brackets, screw them . (Again just my opine on relocation brackets). Maybe get some opinions on the Icon. That is apples to apples with the mopar. Or just got with the Mopar 2 inch.

Mopar also won’t mess with a denied warranty claim.

I was also initially against relocation brackets but have come to the conclusion they are the best way to go unless you are going to spend closer to $3k on an 8 control arm kit. This is the only kit in that price range that brings the full suspension geometry back into spec. After completely reading the directions I'm sold on the AEV kit.

That's my opinion for my set-up. I have a 90% on road DD with off road trail weekends/camping/mild crawling. Road manners are my main concern followed by off road performance.

Regarding your question about looks with the stock tires, you have a Rubicon with 33" tires so it will not be as noticeable as it would be if you owned a sport.

In the pic below, my friend's Stingray Sport Max Tow has a Mopar 2" lift, and stock Rubicon size 33"tires on aftermarket wheels. My white Rubi has a 1.5"/.75" level spacers on 35's.

Falcon shocks are an excellent choice, you can't go wrong with those parts. I would however look at other options if you're in the market for a full kit. The primary reason being as someone mentioned above, the Teraflex kit currently available is 'half-baked', in my opinion anyway.

I had the full Teraflex ST2 lift on my JL and it was great, but it also came with all 4 coils, and wasn't a spacer kit in the rear like the one currently on the market for the Gladiator. For my JT I opted for the EVO Enforcer kit, and I'm really happy with it so far. I've stuck with the stock Rubicon shocks for now, but if I end up upgrading Falcon will be my choice.

Btw, if you do go EVO 2.5 inch, make sure to get the adjustable front and rear track bars, that lift will yield you closer to 3.5 inches so your axles will be offset more than you might expect.

I am really unhappy with the mopar lift off-road. Really rough ride. I am switching to Teraflex, looking for a better off-road ride and adjustability for on road. Have a look at this comparison video from trailrecon for additional insights. Yes, it’s a Wrangler review. they have a 3.5” gladiator kit now. I am getting rear springs too.

I have used both Falcon 2.1 shocks on my Wrangler and the Fox 2.0 shocks on my Gladiator and I have to say I much prefer the Fox shocks for my daily road driving. My Falcons were stiff and a bit harsh on our great (sarcastic) roads. I ended up doing the base Clayton RideRight+ lift paired with Fox 2.0 shocks and it really does ride better than stock now. I never believed guys who said that with my Wrangler having the Falcon shock with the Rock Krawler lift, but this setup really does ride nice and with the upper control arms and front and rear track bars, it let the geometry properly be set back to factory specs. I am on 37s and with the adjustable caster set to 5 degrees, I dont wander and no bump steer. I highly recommend checking out Clayton and Fox for very little more, especially if you arent a hard core wheeler. You get all the right components to run 37s and maintain a factory or better ride.

Interesting but they don’t. Mention the mopar lift kit I will augment mine with track bars and if it is too harsh down the line swap
Out to falcons

I’ll let you know how a full 3.5” teraflex is when I get it.

I’m curious if the mopar lift is stiffer to maintain factory towing and payload? Seems like you must loose some payload, compared to a max tow. It I wonder what Jeep would say about towing and payload with the mopar 2” lift.
