I have a list of skids I plan on working towards...LCA frame mounts, and the Oil Pan/Transmission skid. Anyone with the 3.0 run one of the latter? What are your thoughts? Recommendations?

I have the full belly skid from Next Venture Motorsports. I have the 3.6, but they make one for the diesel. They’re amazing in every way.

They’re not cheap, but they’re light and strong as hell. I’ve raked mine over the coals and can’t damage anything no matter how hard I try.

I really like the Next Venture design that puts a wide flange all along the frame rails. All the others use the stock cross-members, or ones like them, that stick up proud of the frame rail. Every example I see like that that’s been well used, the cross-member mounts are mangled and flattened

I’d much rather replace the occasional mangled bolt than have to cut off and replace mangled cross-members

No question.

Next Venture is running a sale, 15% is a pretty decent amount off of the skids.

‘OUR END OF SUMMER SALE IS LIVE! USE CODE "ENDOFSUMMER15" FOR 15% OFF ANYTHING WE MAKE - VALID ON ORDERS OVER $199 - EXPIRES 9/30”

I ordered the Quadratec aluminum engine/transmission for the new JT. I had it on my JK, it fit good, is relatively inexpensive, was light weight and did the job for a mild wheeler. It probably would not stand up to serious crawling, but for light to medium use, it works quite well.

The MORE looks good for the OIL/Transmission. IF I end up committing to more...maybe the Artec aluminum belly. Supposedly it only adds 10lbs after your remove the factory stuff.

I ran the Asfir aluminum skids on my JLUR and they did the job. Not as complete as a full underbelly system, but the price is right for a full set for ~$1200 For the diesel. They ship ultra fast too.

Another vote for Next Venture. Amazing product on fit, finish and function!
Yep. If you’re doing serious wheeling, there is no comparison. They’re lightweight and built for the toughest trails. And they slide off rocks like butter with the UHMW option that I have.

Your avatar, is that the bridge on the Rubicon trail?
