Mopar Rock Rail broken knob/dowel during install.

Installed jt rubi oem mopar rails the other day, and accidentally overtorqued one of the welded dowels off. Several questions,

1. How would I go about fixing this? Cutting and sanding the dowel down and drilling a new hole to fit another screw through?

2. Considering structural integrity, this one is the 6th dowel down if counting from the front end of the vehicle (8 total) and I was wondering if I don't fix will this "really" compromise the rail as there are 4 other connection points to the underbody that appear pretty strong.

3. Any recommendations to cover up the minor bare metal exposed in the pinch weld to avoid rust?

Find someone to weld it back on for you. I don't think it will matter unless you will be hammering on those rails.
