What button does One push if they start to get some trailer sway?
Your phone will have an app, or you can buy a button to mount anywhere with no wiring.

I still like my built-in look and operation. It's always there, always ready. Connect and drive away.
It's whatever works for you. Your choice, your truck, your decision.

I'm personally not a fan of something relying on a wireless signal to do manual braking or having to use my phone for yet ANOTHER app. I know they all have pros and cons - but I want my controller in the truck and that button right there and also really easy to adjust as there's been times I've had it fine for pavement then I get into gravel and have to quickly turn the power down - just turn that dial and stop sliding the wheels (note mine is on 2 now - as I hit gravel and had to quickly dial it back, it's normally at 4 to 5 for mine)
I couldn't do such a quick change with an app..........

I do get that, but conversely, If I did not have this app, I would not have so easily seen that the JT brake pedal was not connected to the 7 Pin wiring harness when fuse 109 blew.

So for me, the App prevented a much bigger issue, and I had zero issues using it to manually brake the trailer.

So there are pro's and cons

Without reading through 33 pages as I dont know if this has been covered. But between the Two Pro redarc and this mopar controller. What is the benefit of the Mopar one over the Redarc? If i read a couple of posts correctly we would not be able to install current dead pedals with the mopar unit?
You can install dead pedals.....see my post with pics in this tread.

Just adding to the chaos that is the Mopar product. Finally obtained one. I tie-wrapped that bad boy to the frame just above the kick panel.
Did not feel like bolting a 2oz. Piece of plastic.
Where the instructions say to place, well good on ya if you contorted your way in.
After securing ,added the harnesses. Drilled a hole in the plastic of left dash just below speaker grill like others have. This way i retained the auxiliary plug. My only issue was the inconvenience of getting the ABS module flash from dealer to cure the dash lites yelling at me.
Done & done.
