What makes YOU, me or anyone for that matter someone’s self appointed “teacher”? NOTHING is the answer.
-'It takes a village to raise a child'
We all should be teaching and helping to raise society. When we just do for others and do not allow for teaching moments, we end up in a society that cannot do for themselves.
This is where the dilemma comes in- you want to help because that is what we do, we help. Not being in my Jeep, I could not help with pulling them out. So we offered advice on how to drive it out, they just mashed the pedal and buried it more. We then offered a solution of going next door to get towed out, they mashed the pedal more. When we went past them the second time, there was a Jeeper helping them out. We continued home to our family. Again, this happened in a safe, nearly controlled environment. We offered assistance with what we had at hand-advice. They chose not to take it, we chose not to continue to help.
Nope. None of that actually applies. Just when my opinion differs from the norm, I am downcast. I'm okay with that.No. You lack the emotional maturity to deal with others and use nastiness as a defense. It's not cool as a trait. Try to be nice.
p.s. Dan, nothing personal taken. We all have different opinions.
