Let me know when and where
I've got all kinds of video I can post up anytime. 24' enclosed loaded to 100% GTW rating and GAWR.
How about you load yours up to 100% rating and hit the highway. Video it cruising in 8th gear at highway speed, even up inclines. Reset your MPG display before you head out so we can see how fast it's drinking fuel. Post it up. I'm dying to see it. (I already know the results, I've towed with everything on the road, I just want to see it.)

I'm subbed to this thread, so if it takes a week or a month just post it up whenever. This'll be fun.

I have the Magnuson, with my programming and tow 2-3 times a month, with no issue. It does make it easier and vetter. I came from a 2019 Ram limited with every bell and whistle besides the 22s

I was actually looking at this kit today, but losing the warranty has me on the fence.

For sure, I will love this challenge. I build work horses for a living. And as far as towing it is a regular occurrence, biggest pain in the ass for me will be getting it on video. Probably log data so you all can see at a micro level fuel and heat load.

What would you like me to pull and where. I am lighter, more powerful and have more cooling capability. My transmission is tuned infinitely better, and my trailer breaking is light years ahead of anything Jeep offers
I’ve heard about the tuning you do to the Magnuson supercharger kits so if I go that route I’ll definitely be getting with you!

The funny thing is I am not trying to sell anything l, it is all free and guys still don't believe me. I have an eco boost lined up for tommorow, if time permits I will strap it down and get to towing.

Lol not even close
You guys don't seem to understand what power and torque are.

A supercharged gas Gladiator is going to be pushing 400 hp.

My guess is a supercharged pentastar will have similar torque to a diesel. But will still be able to rev 2500 rpm higher than the diesel. That will allow him to hold a lower gear and put all 400 hp to work.

And walk you like you are standing still.

The benefit of the diesel is that its factory and doesn't require fiddling and futzing around with tunes and drivability issues at partial throttle.

The only way a diesel would be able to challenge is if it is hot outside. Diesels are thermodynamically more efficient than gas engines. So a diesel will make less heat for a given power output than a similar gas engine with a supercharger.

But then again. I don't know if he has any extra cooling on his jeep.

Either way we're getting to that time of year where cooling isn't going to be the limiting factor.

I wish I had spare $$ laying around. I'd be hauling my truck over there and leaving it. :)

PS - if I wasn't going to be so tied up with the show and swap at the Cordova dragway next weekend, I'd love to see and hear your truck. I'm in awe. Someone else said it well - you ARE a mad scientist LOL.
I only dream of that ability. I can make the old-school stuff scream and go fast, but yours is a work of art (and a little Harry Potter stuff, I suspect)

Back to the original post... I don't think that trailer would be 2500lbs? Can you check the label?

I would guess that the biggest concern with supercharging and making MUCH more HP and torque is the bottom end of the engine. Can the crank and bearings handle those extra ponies???

If I was doing a 3 hour plus max tow trip I would have waaay more confidence in a diesel jt over a supercharged one....
