Kevlar skin for the back of your hands! The Gladiator is the same as all my previous Jeeps. I seem to bash my hands and bleed whenever I work on them.

Phone for calling the local dealership ;). Too may electronics
I've had mine going on 2 years. I have 8 Badge of honor trails on this JT, and numerous other trails that were very challenging. I skipped the electronics and skipped the Diesel. I have 20k miles of trailer towing and trails, as it is a 3rd car just for the previously mentioned usage. Never had anything break, short out or fail on me, and I attribute that to keeping it basic and simple. Very sorry to hear, Through you insinuations you have a lemon. It is a very fun, worth you while & capable vehicle. But just like Harley Fat Boys don't care for dirt roads, the JT works much better in the environment it was designed for, which is not pavement. I hope you get things ironed out, and you can start having fun with it, because its no fun bumming a ride to the dealership all the time. My suggestion? Collect badges, not rubber ducks. With that said,

11mm wrenches are the most commonly used tool on the JT. I just happen to have a few xtra 11 mm I could trade you for 10mm wrenches, 1 for 1. Ha Ha!

What scares me is not a one of you that is bringing a lot of tools has mentioned a torque wrench and service manual....

Believe it or not your finely crafted and tuned physical body [loosely speaking obviously  ] is NOT capable of torque measurements. There is a reason why manufacturers have spent gazillions on engineers and design to make the vehicle operate as its supposed to.

I carry a small basic kit in my bike with the full knowledge that any repair I can/need to do on the side of the road will be redone properly when I get back to my garage.

I have both large [for the RV I used to live in] and medium SnapOn torque wrenches as when it comes to torque the best tools will give the most accurate readings.

I plan on the same method for when I finally get my Gladiator---basic tools only---with the full realization that anything I have to do gets redone back at the garage.

Service manual is downloaded to all my electronic devices, torque wrench is a must! Good call!

Book of profanity. Y'all left that out. Some things require innovative swearing.

Thankfully these are new. No gallons of PB Blaster or any of that nonsense.

Yep.... this. Ask me how I know.

Have 18, 19 and 21mm sockets been mentioned yet. Regular and deep.

Since some people don't understand the concept of a torque wrench, I quit recommending them.

Watch youtube and see how many times a person clicks the wrench at the set measurement, they have just over torqued every fastener they've done that to.
Since it seems no one can do anything that isn't done on youtube, that is a scary thing.

If you are given a set torque value, set the wrench to that value, when the wrench clicks, STOP. The only excuse is if a value of 120 ft lbs + 120 degrees is given. But your everyday torque wrench doesn't do that and if you haven't marked the socket there's really no way to even guess the 120 degrees.

I do not care and will not carry a torque wrench in my bag. I am just trying to fix it so I can get home and double check and take the time I need to make sure it is right. I have not keeping an extra set of torque wrenches calibrated and have them baning around in my jeep. How often it will get use will most likely not be right.
