Yeah, I have a 72" tool box full of SAE stuff that is about worthless now ?I'm like you, I travel with every tool I would need to change any part that might fail.
When I go wheeling I have another list of items that go with me.
I've had mine going on 2 years. I have 8 Badge of honor trails on this JT, and numerous other trails that were very challenging. I skipped the electronics and skipped the Diesel. I have 20k miles of trailer towing and trails, as it is a 3rd car just for the previously mentioned usage. Never had anything break, short out or fail on me, and I attribute that to keeping it basic and simple. Very sorry to hear, Through you insinuations you have a lemon. It is a very fun, worth you while & capable vehicle. But just like Harley Fat Boys don't care for dirt roads, the JT works much better in the environment it was designed for, which is not pavement. I hope you get things ironed out, and you can start having fun with it, because its no fun bumming a ride to the dealership all the time. My suggestion? Collect badges, not rubber ducks. With that said,Phone for calling the local dealership. Too may electronics

] is NOT capable of torque measurements. There is a reason why manufacturers have spent gazillions on engineers and design to make the vehicle operate as its supposed to. Service manual is downloaded to all my electronic devices, torque wrench is a must! Good call! What scares me is not a one of you that is bringing a lot of tools has mentioned a torque wrench and service manual....
Believe it or not your finely crafted and tuned physical body [loosely speaking obviously] is NOT capable of torque measurements. There is a reason why manufacturers have spent gazillions on engineers and design to make the vehicle operate as its supposed to.
I carry a small basic kit in my bike with the full knowledge that any repair I can/need to do on the side of the road will be redone properly when I get back to my garage.
I have both large [for the RV I used to live in] and medium SnapOn torque wrenches as when it comes to torque the best tools will give the most accurate readings.
I plan on the same method for when I finally get my Gladiator---basic tools only---with the full realization that anything I have to do gets redone back at the garage.
Yep.... this. Ask me how I know.Book of profanity. Y'all left that out. Some things require innovative swearing.
