Moving from premium soft top to hardtop

YEs, There's a Youtube video out there somehwere that show show to install them (so reverse for removal). The rear brackets are easy but the front require removing the upper windheield trim inside and its a pain. Only tool is whatever socket fits it (10mm or 13mm I believe)

That's what I've heard. Its wired up and ready to go I believe on all 21s

I just had my hardtop installed yesterday at the dealer and I can also confirm that my 21 Mojave already had the harness in place.

My Mojave was originally ordered with the basic soft top for reference.

If your truck only came with the soft top at purchase its possible those brackets were not placed there. I don't know why they just didn't install them on all the trucks regardless.

As stated the front brackets do look to be a PITA but nothing a backyard jeep mechanic can’t fix.

If it Does not have sound dreading material you may want to consider the HotHeads package. Sound was bouncing around like crazy made long drives unbearable the sound insulation helped a lot.

You'll need the center brackets for the freedom tops (4 total, 2 front, 2 back) The front are a PITA to get off and put back on just FYI

From memory it was about $1500 for the top and $120 for the install. I'll double check and let you know if this is off. I think that includes the Mopar 10% discount from their parts department.

Not sure if it made a difference, but I added that into the purchase of the vehicle. I don't think that makes any difference in the price though, since it was still purchased as an accessory and not ordered with the vehicle.

Excellent. Thank you. The prices I am seeing online are around $2300 just for the hardtop kit.
