This thread has been asleep for a month, but I’d love to see some new results.

Perhaps some Overland/Sport results—both stock and with modifications...

I have an Overland and would say stock. I do have 33" tires, after market bumper and winch. The best I gotten in the flat lands of Mississippi. Louisiana, Arkansas, Illinois and Indiana. I haven't reset my B trip meter and 16.7 MPG after 2390 miles.

I noticed that everyone is running 87 octane. With how horrible ethanol is to the system, isn't it better to run non-ethanol premium?
Maybe that isn't available around the country (?)

I didn't think the higher grades had any less ethanol, just more octane.
Either way the engines aren't tuned to run higher grades, and they are designed to deal with standard ethanol levels. Wouldn't run E85 ethanol gas, but I plan to use regular grade as I have with all my non diesel vehicles.

I'm gonna jack up my pressure to 37 on the 37s (see what I did there? ;)) tomorrow and run a tank or two.

With factory tires, I got 20 MPG highway on a trip out west. Was getting about 400 miles between stops.

I am seeing a crazy range of Tire pressure from below 30 all the way to past 42. Can't this also be of concern?

I run "ethanol free". We have two very common gas stations here (Kwik Trip and Holiday) that offer it.
There are some options of "premium" that have more octane but still have ethanol (the devil).
I get better mileage which off-sets the cost and I reduce damage.

I run it in EVERYTHING. Motorcycle, snowblower, lawn mower, etc.... NO chance of gumming up carbs!

Should add to this list:

Also wondering what having the Tonneau cover does to the mileage. It's gotta help a bit aerodynamically.
