MRTuning Stage 2 and transmission tune.

i just hit about 1000 miles. i havent seen any real issues, except the you have to watch your pedal. if you go past 60% you roll coal. i normally drive like i stole it, so 30% is more than enogth to get my to 75 MPH cruising.

I was wondering how clean the tune was. This answered my question. I would rather have a clean tune on it but not too often do I need to really lay into it.

well its the style of driving that matters. i only roll coal under load such as the 5000 pound trailer i was taking uphil at 80MPH or if i step on it. honestly if you dont step on it, you wont roll coal.

Do you have something to monitor EGTs? What are they now? I have a suspicion this will fix the majority of overheating issues although you still have an EGR cooler in place.

i did have the banks datamonster, but its uninstalled. i need to put it back to montitor.

I like that the EGR is still intact but not in use. I wish we could get a plug in tuner like the Derringer to just disable EGR under certain circumstances like EOT's over 230*.

so ive been doing multiple dump runs and the tune handles it like a champ. my favorite is the trans tune. its so smooth, and keep the gear for engine breaking. really helped out with a huge dump trailer. lol

ive had a spare PCM on order for 90 days. when it comes in ill have a spare lol

Interesting. Im probably doing the radiator when bulletproof diesel comes out with it. Also need to finish my water methanol kit.

If EOC comes out with a flash/handheld solution I would be more inclined to REPAIR THE GOVERNMENT MANDATED GARBAGE FOREVER.
