Fantastic news!

Got a quick Q though -- I was about to sign up for 'tread lightly', but looks like my company is an affiliate reward partner. Does that mean I'm guaranteed 1% below invoice and if so, does that stack with 1% from 'tread lightly' or does it cap at 1%?

*update* Just received my control number from FCA. :)
What did you do to get that?

I cannot find any original link to this article anywhere on MT.
If this is a printed version, would Motortrend have had the official pricing at the time they started printing? I don’t know timelines on those things. But I hope it is correct.
It's in Motor Trend's latest digital magazine subscription, released today.

What happened to the Rubicon Falken Wildpeak tires? I went online to build my Jeep (for the 15th time) and the Falkens are no longer listed as standard. Dang.
Wait... you have only built one 15 times? This site is for addicts not people who dabble.

Ha! I was going to say 100th time but sounded a little nerdy to me!

If the Rubi starts at $44K, then I'm in. I'll just be waiting on the Gator Green one. I'm not even sure I'll wait on Diesel at this point. I may get the V6 and add a turbo or supercharger. I'll probably even buy every option but leather.

Not terrible and about what most of us speculated for a price increase give or take a small amount. Awesome!

It wouldn't surprise me if FCA has been perpetuating the high price rumors. IF the MT pricing is correct, a lot of people are going to breathe a sign of relief and go place their orders next week.

Tread lightly is through the same discount system as your affiliate code so it won’t stack. Only stacking is any additional discount / rebate the dealer will give you.

What might the diesel MPG be in comparison?

Tread Lightly is an affiliate reward, just like what you get from your company's employee benefit program (except you presumably get it for free). FCA accepts ONE affiliate reward program, they don't stack.

$56K for an optioned Rubi, if that holds up, means we are probably looking at ~$60K for same setup with the diesel.
