I have almost completely switched from Sirius to Pandora on CarPlay. I have unlimited data on my phone, and I like my stations better than Lithium.

Lately, I have been listening to RATM, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, and Kenny Chesney radio.

I can’t believe I didn’t say this in my other reply. My daughter is 5, and her favorite thing is riding around our neighborhood in the front seat with me, especially when the top and doors are off. There’s a small dirt/grass path that isn’t paved. Most folks drive their golf carts across it from one side of the neighborhood to the other, but my kid loves when I take her across in the Jeep.

We usually go on these rides after work, and she started calling it a night ride. “Daddy, can we go on a night ride tonight?”

I love this little tradition, and I hope she will look back on it and smile one day. We always have to play two songs during the ride: Alan Jackson’s “Drive (For Daddy Gene)” and Randy Houser’s “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight.”

So that’s my new answer. Those are the two best songs to listen to in a Jeep.

Classic rock, almost all the time. Occasionally I'll listen to some country but not all that often. Nothing from the past 30 years, in my opinion the best music was in the 70's and 80's.
