I'm 100%, I will requote usaa then, plus I have Tricare as a retired Vet, so medical is covered regardless.
just mentioned to them that you don’t need medical coverage because everything is covered by the VA that may be what the trick is to get a lower rate I don’t know

No tickets, no claims, no reason. My insurance bill for my 2017 JKU and my 2021 JT came in yesterday and my premiums went up over 25 percent. I called my agent and he said "Yeah, everything is going up. There's nothing we can do". Time to start shopping around.
The "news" has been filled with articles on that very topic - the why's and how's and more.
As my agent told me - inflation, the increased costs of repairs, the complexity of modern vehicles...........
We're lucky to be getting a whole list of discounts that keep ours - can't say "reasonable" but easier to swallow with a pint of whiskey to wash it down.

And of course - it will vary wildly with where you live.
My wife is such a fantastic, careful driver, they got her signed up on a program to watch for braking, speeding, phone use and jack-rabbit starts - already knocked off almost 200 on our annual premium. I laughed and told our agent that thing will die of total boredom and wish it was somewhere else after a few weeks in her Jeep.
She's danged proud of her stellar credit rating, driving history and scores and such.

Been with same agent and same company since about 1983 I believe.

I’ve had USAA since 1998. My payment is 98$/month for a gladiator. I have full coverage, and towing.
no issues in 7+ years.

I can say if you are a disabled vet, and are at the percent(40%+ I think, I’m at 100 so I don’t remember where the coverage starts) where your entire medical is covered they can wave your personal medical coverage. Not your liability towards others, just you. I know mine is and it got me a good discount.
Interesting, I'm retired USA (20 yrs active) and 100% VA disabled

my USAA keeps going down every year. They send me refunds. ?
The older I get, the less miles I put on my truck and the more I put on my bicycles.
Yeah I get the dividend checks too, but my rates went up this year 20% with ZERO claims on auto or homeowners

We just switched to State Farm to get lower rates. I am down to four cars and one camper on the policy. Unfortunately two of the cars are driven by under 21 year old sons and both are R/T Challengers. I did get a decent discount since they are away at college. They also both qualify for good student discounts. We are down to under $1000 per month! But not by much.

I am seriously considering dropping to liability only at this point.

umbrella insurance might be the best bet.

We own an insurance agency...

This is a daily conversation with our customers...many many many times a day.

The insurance industry is getting hammered by the cost of materials and labor, i.e. we are the second highest inflation impacted commodity currently (health care is #1). Carriers cannot just pay more and more and more on claims without passing that on to end users unfortunately. None would stay in business. It's every single carrier. Every one. I hate it, but ultimately there isn't a lot to do until the inflationary pressure drops (and who knows if it ever does...) my .02 worth .01.

Even for those of us that are 100%, I dont think you can use "VA coverage" as a blanket for not having insurance medical coverage. Pretty sure there are still state/federal mandates for minimum medical coverage requirements. I could be wrong.. But I imagine, as hard as the VA is to deal with in the first place, expecting them to cover medical stuff in that regard doesn't seem appropriate to me.

USAA been straight up Raping my bank account, 3 increase over the last 6 months! I'm shopping around. Shame I've been with them since 2000.
Is that across different policies or you renewing your policy every two months?

Y'all are in two of the most expensive auto insurance states in the country.

Mine hasn't changed much at all since I got it (new).

So, you're here to tell genpop what they can and can't say? LMAO, I could say I took a bath instead of a shower and some weasel could make it political. Maybe give us your version of the definition and I'll try not to say something offensive.
