I forgot to add I was also told Virginia was one of 13 states that they all did a huge rate increase.Good luck shopping around. I have Travelers and my Home and Auto went up 30% each. I got quotes from EVERYONE and Travelers still wound up being the lowest for me. In talking to different agents I was basically told the same thing over and over - rates are up because new car replacement costs are high as all hell, accidents have increased substantially, claims since the covid lock down ended have skyrocketed, costs of goods and material are high, and Erie insurance even told me it is because JEEPS are getting expensive to insure.
Or at least your closest neighborthey defined beachfront as something like within 3 miles of the beach. Umm, 3 miles from the beach isn’t beachfront IMO. Hell, in a lot of cases that’s the next town over.

I've been down this route and "switched" my way to the bottom. I have some company now that I've never heard of and It becomes exponentially worse when you have "young adults"!Switched to geico after progressive
Yep mine went up 20% also. Mostly due to uninsured motorist, even though they gave me a small discount for being an EVOC instructor. No tickets, no claims, no reason. My insurance bill for my 2017 JKU and my 2021 JT came in yesterday and my premiums went up over 25 percent. I called my agent and he said "Yeah, everything is going up. There's nothing we can do". Time to start shopping around.
Lol, “products”.All the insurance companies are raising the cost of their products.
I also couldn’t respond for the same reason…Theres not, I just couldn't respond.
First time ever after driving for 40 years, my insurance booted my family policy (4 vehicles) because we had "too many claims". 5 total over 5 years, 1 at fault claim, 1 not at fault claim (rear-ended by distracted driver on exit ramp) and 3 glass repair claims for rock strikes (only repaired, not replaced) and I pay for glass coverage in my policy. No tickets, no claims, no reason. Luckily it shouldn’t increase your rates while she has her permit, but you will be when she gets the license.Oldest is 2 months from her permit - am I screwed?
