MY22 factory LED upgrade?

I thought I had read that if I want to upgrade my 22 to factory LED that it has to be either a 21 or 22. Is that correct? I'm thinking it was stated that MY20 was different. Not sure what the incompatibility was all about though. I am just going to start looking for people selling their factory lights when they upgrade. I don't have any of the safety packages so not real sure if a taillight with the sensors in them will still work on mine or not. Just now starting to look up what part numbers I need. If anyone can confirm the 21-22 thing I would appreciate it. Also this is a Rubicon that I am upgrading on. So with that said are the turn/DRL lights a plug and play swap? I was told that the halogen lenses are one size and the LED's have a bigger lense and might be a difference on how they mount to my fenders.

On my 2021 the headlights, turn signals and DRL's use the same factory harness for either Halogen or LED's and are plug and play concerning the wiring harness. However, in order to get the lights working properly you will need to change the lights settings to LED when changing from Halogens. This can be done by the dealer or with a programmer. Regarding the other questions; size of lights and LED tail lights with safety sensors. Perhaps someone else can answer these questions.
I have often questioned If a person would be better off getting the LED package at time of original purchase. When complete let us know what is a better value for LED's Factory or DIY!

I have used the Tazer and it worked well for me considering I'm an old guy that can barely get a pc to start. When I get a chance I will measure the DRL's and try to determine if LED's and Halogen use the same housing and lens.

I believe in a 2022 the wiring harness from halogen to LED will be the same. The 2020 (and maybe early 2021s) required the addition of an extra wire for the halo ring to work. Adding this wire, while not impossible, was more than most wanted in a DIY project. So if you have a 2022 it would just be a matter of purchasing the MOPAR LEDs and connecting them and then using the Tazer or dealer flash to change setting to LED.
