A rodent chewed through the wire (Mopar part 68598134AC) the runs along the top of transfer case. I tried to remove the plug at the end of the wire so I could repair the wire but can’t figure out how to remove the plug. Anyone have any ideas on how to remove the plug and if there is any special tool that can get into that tight spot to help? Including a pic of the plug I need to remove in order to get some slack in the wire. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Use a small flat head pocket screwdriver to depress that tab on the left and pull the plug while it is depressed.

Thank you. I wasn’t able to get both hands in that tight spot but can try a stubby screwdriver and see if that works. Thank you.

Looks like the Transfer Case Position Sensor connector. Like mentioned, you have to get that top tab depressed to release the lock. That is a bit of a pisser location though.

If none of the other suggestions work, there is a electrical connection pliers made for these types:

https://www.amazon.com/37960-Electrical-Disconnect-Automotive-Connector/dp/B0DBYHDTZD

Curved looped small hose pliers can also work.

Thanks for the suggestion and the pic of the connector. That helps.
