Hello all. Just picked up my white JT diesel on Friday. Wasn’t sure where to put an intro so this is as good a place as any I guess. I’ll use this as a place holder for future work.
This was the day after I brought it home. The dealer ordered it in April, and I happened to be looking on JEEPs website for one, and this was a match. I called and put my name on it in September, and have been waiting since.

I also got the hood strut kit from redline tuning. Super easy, and oh so needed. I installed the same one on my wife’s JLU.

Then, because I bought the vehicle out of province, and one that doesn’t require a front plate, I had to install the plate holder and then the new plates. Side note, my son plays for the wheat kings, hence the plate, but was also born in 2005, and it was pure luck I got this number! They give them out in sequential order. Nice little touch.

Next up will be the rokblokz mud flaps, which are also desperately needed after adding the tires.

The AEV lift is for the wife’s Wrangler.
And she also got my leftover tires and wheels!!

White JT Diesel brothers unite! Love the new wheels and the Rubicon stock ones look great on her Sahara. I've put 4k miles on mine in the 1st 60 days and love it so far. Great MPG, and tows a 16ft enclosed dual axle trailer exceptionally well. My next mod will be the SumoSprings.
Please post your thoughts on the RockBlockz, trying to decide on flaps. Thx

Yeah. I was the same. Which flaps. You can get bogged down with so many options in every decision on every product you try buy. Most people complained about the price, but also said they were great flaps. So I just decided to bite the bullet and get them. I’ll install them this weekend and let you know.
The dealer told me they don’t sell vehicles without flaps as it’s illegal there without them. I called bull and said I’d take the fall if I got pulled over. The factory flaps in Canada are 600 bucks. These were way cheaper than that. So I can’t complain about the price.

So I put the flaps on tonight, and the front flares on so far. I’ll put the backs on tomorrow. The flaps weren’t too bad to put on. And with the plastic rivets and gun, the flares went quick. Not sure how many times I’ll take the flaps off as they have thumbscrews to remove them easily if your off roading. We’ll see.

Not too much of a fan of this space between the 2. Maybe I can come up with something?

Nice! I would love that white top on my Sport S.
Wondering about the plastic rivet gun you used for the fender flares? I already have my Recon flare extensions , but forgot about needing the rivet tool

I also have RockBloks in XL to install

The rivet gun is just a cheap one I found on Amazon. I didn’t try, but I almost bet you could use a regular rivet gun. I have a couple normal rivet guns here. I’ll try one today and see.

Here is the one I bought. It came with some rivets of various sizes, but I read that they are cheap. So I looked around and found a 100 pack of the size needed, again on Amazon. The dealers in Canada wanted $10.50 a piece for the rivets!!!?

This is in Canada, but just look for it on .com if your in the states.

Ok. Got the rear flares put on. Pretty straight forward process. Some have cut the flare to accommodate the different curve of the gladiator, some have heated it with a heat gun. I didn’t do either and just started at the bottom and worked my way around. I didn’t like where the factory holes were in the flare itself, so I just moved it up and drilled my own hole so the bottom of the flare would align. See picture

And here’s for those that ask about the stock rivets.
First use a small punch and punch the middle up
Jeep Gladiator New 23 White JTRD owner IMG_2822

Then I use a little screwdriver to pull the head down
Jeep Gladiator New 23 White JTRD owner IMG_2826

Then use the tool that came in the rivet gun kit to pull it out. Easy peasy

Here is the finished product

Welcome to the forum and to the world of the Ecodiesel.
Thanks! Been around a couple months, but until last week didn’t have anything to contribute till I finally got the gladiator. I love forums, and the info available and I hope to continue contributing for a long time.

Not sure why yours look like that. When I hold up the flares to my fenders they align at the bottom of the front fenders.
Mine is a Sport S.
I’m hoping to find time this week to get mine installed
