I was thinking along those lines too; I thought that’s the only way to get factory leather in a Mojave anymore.

I bet they swapped bumpers with another JT to make a sale, or as a favor to a friend...

I hope not but it’s possible. The dealer got the front bumper authorized while I was still there but I didn’t realize it should have been the rear as well.

Did they have it listed on the dealership website with pics and did you save any of those pics?

The pics online didn’t show the steel front bumper but the monroney label lists it as included. This is a big dealer with lots of silver Mojave’s and I thought they may have cut corners by using stock photos for several. Again, I’m not a jeep expert, but I knew enough to look at the front bumper. Didn’t know at the time it should be both.

I bought my Mojave X a few months back. While searching I found that the steel bumpers come with one of three groups.

• Steel bumper group
• Quick order package 23A (manual transmission)
• Quick order package 24A (automatic transmission)

I found a few in the $63-65K MSRP range without steel bumpers.

My monroney label includes customer preferred pkg 24A.

Sweet looking ride, I almost got that color on a Rubicon X.

Like others have said if your window sticker has Mojave X (mine below Rubicon X) you should have the steel bumper and you got scammed by the dealer. If your window sticker doesn't have "X" you got a nicely optioned Mojave which is still awesome.

I would be at the dealer standing on their desk naked and screaming for my steel bumper until they produced one.

Definitely both front and rear bumpers should be steel on the X package. Don’t back down with trying to get the dealer to make it right.

In all seriousness, if that dealer doesn't cooperate I would file a warranty claim with mopar.

Mine only has the steel front bumper. The Monroney sticker only lists the front one in the X package.

I caught the missing front steel bumper when I pulled up to the dealer to pick it up, they called it in while I was there and its been ordered. It wasn't til later I realized it should be steel front and back. They said no at first but I sent them some info that shows it should be included in the build, will get some clarification Monday. I am a very determined person when it comes to stuff like this.
