No regrets..You absolutely want to add the AEV geometry correction brackets. The AEV brackets preserve the stock geometry/ride. Mine rides/drives just like stock! I also added LCA and several other things like track bars etc.... but none of them are absolutely necessary....The only thing you don't want to live without adding is the AEVbrackets!....You can check my showcase for a list of parts I used if your curious...

BTW....WHen you have it aligned after the lift is installed, make sure the caster is in the 5.5-6 range. That will make a world of difference in the ride/drive quality !!! Ask me how I know...lol

Does this have to do with added weight from suspension items, or any aftermarket items on your truck? Just wondering. Thought you might be curious too as to actual height of a stock Mojave. My only added weight currently that may be different from others is a bed topper and hard top. Some have soft tops.

Thanks for throwing the math in your response and measuring and providing the stock height. This build doesn’t have armor that would put sprung weight on the lift. So, no steel front or rear bumper, no recovery gear, no cap, no bed rack, etc. I’ve got the spare tire in the bed, which probably weighs around 100lbs. The wheels and tires are heavy, but as they’re unsprung weight they shouldn’t impact the lift height.

Another thought… I do have the tires aired down to 26 PSI. I know this impacts the ride height vs. running the tires at the stock 36 PSI. Unsure how much, maybe 1/2 inch to an inch. A quick chalk test revealed 26 PSI is what it takes to get full tread contact with the ground.

The math you did may indicate the lift height is NOT the stock configuration plus an advertised height bump. Rather, it’s the lift advertised height instead of the factory height.

Anyone else discover different math measuring their ride height?

Who did you order from and how did you get the 4th of July date? I ask because I have a kit on order from Northridge and they said it would be about 30 days. Its coming up on that 30 days so I am wondering how accurate that is? I had called AEV (Yes I am a little excited and impatient) and they said their next batch was due to ship out to dealers mid June... so I am hoping I get in that "batch"

Wow. My plan was 35’s or 37’s. I don’t need all of what you mentioned, do I? Is all that if I were to go 38’s or larger? I’m having trouble scrapping together the $6K needed just for the lift, wheels, and tires.

No, you don’t need all of what I mentioned. Certainly not to start with. I won’t be doing any axle work until next year and I’ll be doing a lot of off roading between now and then. Also, if you won’t be fully articulating the drive train you can skip the front drive shaft upgrade.

To save money keep an eye out for special pricing on tires and wheels. If you live near a Discount Tire go in a talk to them about wheels and tires. At least the one near me was fantastic to work with. I shopped around online for a few months for the best pricing. Discount Tire honored the pricing so I ordered everything through them, which I preferred in case I ran into issues with the materials. Turned out to be a smart move as they were super helpful to work with when I was mounting the Nitto rubber on the dual-beadlock Hutchinson wheels. Also, Fuel, Method, Black Rhino, and Dirty Life all offer very nice wheel options that are much less expensive than the Hutchinson Rock Monsters. I think Discount Tire can order in any of these brands.

Black, 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave Build

My wife and I put all the wheels together. At the time our local Discount Tire didn't have the equipment to do bead locks. They do now though. They helped us find the right valve stems to install the TPMS sensors, which is a unique process with the Hutchinson Rock Monsters. We moved the stock Mojave wheels over to my wife's JLU Sport S. Discount Tire remounted and balanced the stock Mojave spare (steel wheel) onto another Mojave alloy wheel I bought off eBay, so they all matched. They didn't even charge me for it. Very happy customer!

Here are some pictures of the wheels and tires during and after mounting. You can see the inner rubber boot that locks the beads on the inside and outside.

When all the parts arrived I picked everything up, brought it home, and then went to work with my wife mounting all the tires on the wheels. It went pretty fast. Took us about 1.5 hours to mount and torque all the hardware to spec.

That's a great question. I didn't measure anything before I installed the MetalCloak 3.5" GameChanger lift. What I do have is a sequence of before and after photos, plus some clearance measurements after everything was installed. Most of that's in my build thread.

I would like to find someone with an unmodified JT Mojave who could provide all the stock measurements. Otherwise I'll have to go visit a Jeep dealership with a tape measure to do that myself.

After installing 37x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grappler tires on Hutchinson Rock Monster, 17x8.5x5x5 wheels in Anthracite. Not lifted yet here...

After installing the MetalCloak 3.5" GameChanger lift in addition to a few other goodies up front. It sits level, though it looks taller in the front from this angle.

I had one on order from Northridge for months...Heard AEV was shipping a limited number of kits about a month ago....Got excited and called Northridge and they said the were getting 7 kits from AEV and I was 15th of around 30 on their list... Called Rubitrux and they got around 20 kits from AEV and had happened to have one sitting on the shelf....purchased it right then and it was installed 3 days later....Give them a call..

Called Rubitrux and they got around 20 kits from AEV and had happened to have one sitting on the shelf....purchased it right then and it was installed 3 days later....Give them a call..

Northridge is a good company but it seems their relatshonship with AEV may not be the best... something isn't quite right there....Rubitrax is a much smaller company but they are getting more AEV product??...All I know is Northridge said it would be a few more months after already waiting 2 months and Rubitrax shipped that same day....Hope your able to get one soon ... I love mine...BTW.. Be sure and add the AEV geometry correction brackets....Bare minimum I'd call Northridge and at least ask where you are on the waiting list!!

Yep, I have the brackets and adjustable track bars. Should be good to go once the lift gets here.
