I guess we will see how they hold up. I like the look of the Oracle’s, better but I’ve heard numerous reports of them failing overtime. If these can match OEM reliability then they may have something.

Note to Oracle owners : no need to respond letting me know you’ve had no issues with yours, I know not everyone has problems but a lot of people do.

I'll give you credit for not getting pissed when I was critical. I don't hate the concept overall but....

Its just that the 3 lights screwed onto the outside looks like a rednecked field repair. The build quality looks very questionable. Certainly not $500+ even with the tarrifs. Don't mind me though, I don't really like the combat offroad ones either because they use a $25 light and charge $600+

Well, I have to assume the same person that gave the go-ahead to build and sell the chops is the same person that thought this design was a good idea too, so....
Followed on the gram! Nice rig!

Hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am going to pass along all the feedback I receive to the team.

One thing I am curious on is how people will like them at night. I've noticed that the longer I have been working in the lighting industry, I have become more aware of what the optics of the lights cause them to look like at night on the road from a far, and not necessarily under a magnifying glass up close. That said there is a balance of course, as I don't want something that looks like garbage on my vehicle either!
You're totally right. The 50 foot rule applies with lighting but don't most people drive most of the time in the daylight. The lights have to look good when they are off too.

Stunningly UGLY, spending tall money to ugly up your Jeep? Pass.

Oracle's may not be as durable but at least they look good for the money.

Rather than point light at the pavement buy the racetrack for extra glow. They will see it!

There are many who do not like the look of Oracle lights either.

I think the flush mount Oracle lights look ok, but the race track thing I don't care for.

At least Oracle is visible from the side and retains the back up lights.

These flush taillights are a curiosity to me since I am new to the Gladiator world. I like the look, but the price for all the items I have looked at is strong for an aesthetic change.

Is damaging taillights a systemic problem on Gladiators or is the flush taillight a solution looking for a problem. Seems if folks are damaging taillights they are also damaging the rear corner of the bed.

serious question, not trying to be rude…
Had mine ripped off while I was rock crawling. Came up over the top of a rock that had two large boulders on each side and my backend up flexed up when I went over it and my driver's side caught one of the boulders and ripped the taillight off but saved my body from getting damaged. Picked up all the pieces and glued it back together and bought a new bracket and it's as good as new.

but we truly own our factory and maintain total control whereas a lot of companies do not.
Yeah, there's a big difference between that and contracting with a company "owned by someone else" who also makes products for 10 other companies (and those companies soon see their items cloned for cheaper prices elsewhere).

Thanks for standing up for "Made in America."

That should be a large part of the buying decision.

I love that it is made of steel, the reverse lights and the brake alert. I am not a fan of the vertical turn signals.

I have been trying to find some flush lights that I like, they all have good and bad points that I like. They all seem to sell a lot! If I still had access to a shop like when I was a bodyman, I would probably roll my own.

Man, tough crowd. They aren't something I'm interested in, but I'm not going to come here bashing them either.

I can see these selling to two crowds, those that put all the bulging armor add-ons (angry grilles, huge fat bumpers, etc) to their truck, and those that have chopped fenders, protective panels, etc. that these will aesthetically fit in with.

It's definitely a thing on JTs.. I know 2 people I wheel with that have ripped them off with zero damage to the rest of the jeep. They normally rub them on trees when off-camber.

I did this last summer. rocked into a tree root at the last second and caught just the light. Popped it right out with no damage just broken tabs which was an easy fix.

The added electronics on the JL and JT version increases our production costs on those models. The JK light is simpler and therefore does costs less. I blame jeep for over complicating the electronics on this one lol
What electronics. I don't have any of that safety stuff. Just plain old lights. Not really any different than the ones on my Mom's JK. Unless I'm missing something.
