I did this last summer. rocked into a tree root at the last second and caught just the light. Popped it right out with no damage just broken tabs which was an easy fix.
For sure.. I haven't done it yet, but I've got pretty close more than once.. After they rip one off, everyone buys the oracle ones to replace the factory lights.

Stunningly UGLY, spending tall money to ugly up your Jeep? Pass.

Oracle's may not be as durable but at least they look good for the money.

Rather than point light at the pavement buy the racetrack for extra glow. They will see it!

I find that whole setup ugly. To each their own, I guess.

You sir must be very talented if you could craft these at home.
It actually would not take much. Literally just bent piece of metal and some lights screwed to it.

What electronics. I don't have any of that safety stuff. Just plain old lights. Not really any different than the ones on my Mom's JK. Unless I'm missing something.
JL/JT has the option of the blindspot monitoring. It's housed in the tail lights.

Not either of mine. Plus, you'd just transfer that over from the old light.

You would transfer the sensors, yes, but giving them somewhere to live in the new light adds production costs.
$100+ I don't think so.

Its good to see more options slowly coming out to address the tail lights on the Gladiator. Beyond the obvious reality that it sticks out too much for the trail - the boxey look is not great - IMHO. Most have gone so far to the Oracle when replacing and I find those kinda fugly, just like these...thought I'd go with the Combat but am on the waiting list for the Motobilt release. Love the look of those and can't wait to get the email that they're ready to ship.

I guess I'll be the guinea pig. I just ordered them. I don't mind the looks and have already had the rear lights hit on the trail.

More importantly to me is the brightness during the day. You can see this from the cove lights that are also part of my turn signals. It definitely catches the eye even in bright daylight.

LOL

I am sorry your feel that way. What would you like us to call it? We didn't know either.
B.A.S.S. = Brake. Alert. Safety. Signal.

Not trying to be gimmicky here, just doing something different for those interested.
Thank you for taking my comments light hearted. I work in software, so I see the word technology in so many ads, where to me, it’s doesn’t seem to fit the product, or there’s little to no mitigating detail about how technology was applied to the product.

With that said, I like your product and I’m no marketing guru, I would say stick true to your product and what it provides; no real need to have to boast it up excessively. It’s kind of like when things changed from “the Facebook” to just “facebook”; simple, clean. Best wishes.
