Howdy -

2020 Gladiator Rubicon with 2.5" Readylift SST and 37" Nitto Grapplers
37,000 miles

I am at times hitting hard on bump stops in rougher roads. 75% city/Highway 25% ,light off road and tow 3,000 jet skis.

I'd like to get a better rebound in city roads.

I do NOT carry a big load but do have after-market bumper and wench.

I was thinking of upgrading springs and going with Fox Performance Elite 2.5 adjustable all round.

Thoughts??

The Ready Lift is definitely not built for comfort. You could try Sumo springs front and rear and see if that helps before taking the plunge on a suspension.

Next swap out whatever shocks you have for Bilstein 5100s with the appropriate length.

You know what they say though, "Buy once, cry once".

I'm saving my pennies for an AEV lift. Clayton could be a good choice too since they have so many options. I like the AEV for it's simplicity.

I’m running the 2” coil springs from the Mopar 2” lift and Falcon SP2 2.1 shocks and am very pleased with the ride quality. I’ve ran this on my 2020 JTR and now on my 2022 JTRD.

I’ll second the AEV lift because they have TUNED bilstein shocks coordinating with their springs. The ride is amazing. Do not just go for the 5100s.

Are the Nittos C rated? Have you aired down at all?

I have the Teraflex lift and adjustable shocks, so far so good. Works well both on and off the road.

Load range is E on the tires. 37x12.50R20LT

Air down to around 25-28psi. That might help a little, but I don’t think changing springs/shocks will help that much if I am being honest with 37 inch load range E tires. Maybe get a seat cushion with lumbar support ?.

The tire pressure is a bit on the high side at 43# heated and 39 cold ..... I'll drop that down to low 30's and check it out. Living in California, our roads suck - everyday roads are like like 4wheeling ....

What did you do to correct suspension geometry and caster?

I bought it new in Maui and had Maui Off-road do the upgrade and trusted them …. And here I am today …..

regarding that lift, does it cause any extra suspension noise? I know I know, its a jeep. I installed the lift and last few months I feel like there are new metalic sounds, which I thought may be from the spacers. I was thinking of going for new springs and then shocks to get rid of the adaptor brackets

Hard to tell - but I'm hearing bump stops lately .....

thats a lot of pressure in those and load range E on 20s. Not too much forgiveness in that ride.

I am at 32 cold on 37s C rated
