I get lots of waves but there are also many who don't wave at all, saw a cool yj today. Thing had a custom welded front grille, headlights tilted in an angry look with V8 on the grille. It was all home made and looked like they shoved some big motor in there behind it. Waves both ways. Too bad I was driving and couldn't snap a picture

The the biggest problem I have is when to turn the wave on and off. The gladiator is only about 1/4 of my total driving (summer is more like 3/4) and I find myself confused depending on which vehicle I’m driving....

Yeah, I've noticed this too. Disappointing. I take it to mean that the people who drive a jeep and don't wave just don't get the true joy of riding in a jeep. They'll probably trade it in a few years for some regular cage SUV. I kinda think this is the Jeep brands fault, taking something pure and turning it into a marketing thing. The Jeep Wave Program.

I've waved at a ton of people and they just /ignore.
Even the lifted guys.

A ton of people is only 10-15 people, more if they're kids.

I think lots of jeep owners are first timers or don't come from families where its a known jeep etiquette. Too many people either get them because they are a new cool thing to have and just don't get the community aspect. I wave at everyone and just am used to not getting anything back.

This is taking all the fun out of the Jeep wave. Y’all are overthinking it, just wave . I’ve owned an open top Jeep so long I don’t even think about it anymore, I just do it. Sometimes I wave when I’m in my wife’s Mazda SUV, my daughters GC or even my other daughters Camry... i still get a wave back, most of the time, even in non Jeeps.
