Planning on potentially going this Saturday.

Please let me know what the trail conditions are if you do go!Planning on potentially going this Saturday.
Let me know, I’m having eye surgery on Wednesday so I’m off for a week. So depending on my condition I’m downThinking about Knoxville next weekend weather depending. Bot sure if they close if raining or recently has rained... maybe one of you knows?
I wouldn’t bother with Knoxville this time of year, unless you love mud, are willing to spend hour washing the crud out of your undercarriage and have a large group going where everyone is willing to aid in recovery….
The terrain, soil compound and remoteness make this place a no go in my book. And I have property up there next to it. Also, the brass trash is astounding…
I don’t really consider Lake County part of the Bay Area. Holister is just as much of a mud hole as is Knoxville but I don’t consider San Benito county in the Bay Area either. Enough snark. Sorry.Any alternatives that are in the Bay Area?
Its about an hour closer but you could head up towards the Stanilaus Forest, I used to live in Sonora and I would see people head up to Pinecrest and Long Barn.Where is the best place to go for snow from the Bay Area? Is Lake Tahoe the only option? Or is there somewhere close where kids can play in the snow?
Thanks for the suggestion. The plan is to take kids to Pinecrest tomorrow. If it's snowing, it would be their first time seeing snowfall. Its about an hour closer but you could head up towards the Stanilaus Forest, I used to live in Sonora and I would see people head up to Pinecrest and Long Barn.
You’ll have fun they have places to play in the snow and long barn used to have ice skating, I’m not sure if they still have it. The chicken ranch casino also used to have a drive in so there’s all sorts of things to do up thereThanks for the suggestion. The plan is to take kids to Pinecrest tomorrow.
