I noticed this when changing the oil. The last time I was under there was just before the last change in February. Until now, all the changes have been done by the dealer.

Looks like oil was spilled at some point.....dealer techs can be slobs especially lube techs.

If your concern is the rear main seal, don't worry. If it was, the oil would be dripping/leaking from the hole between those black circular points

I have not noticed any spots on the driveway, and it seems to run fine with no issues. They did do a 'full inspection' at the last oil change, and had a bunch of additional services they tried to sell. I had to go back and get a missing replacement for the air box screw they lost while checking the air filter.

If you really wanted to be sure. Get some brake clean, rags and clean it up. If nothing new presents itself at the next oil change, you're golden.

Maybe when it cools down a little. It has been unusually warm lately. The heat made changing the oil in the driveway quite a chore, even with waiting until later in the evening.

Last year mine was diagnosed with an upper oil pan seal leak. Covered by warranty and the dealer told me they'd seen a few of them. Clean it up like @Minty JL said and keep an eye on it. I found a drop or two in the driveway too.

Side question: What the hell are those 2 rubber grommets? I've always wondered.

They cover the inspection holes for the rear main seal.

The dealer probably slobbered oil when removing the oil filter and it ran down the engine. Exactly why I do my own and won't use the "freebies".
