Hmm...maybe time for that Mojave after all.
If they're really that desperate, ask them if they will buy yours without you buying a new one.

I don't know your comings and goings, can you survive on one car until a new custom order can be built from one of the under-invoice dealers?

For a reference point,
In February 2023 I bought a 2020 Gobi Gladiator Sport High Altitude with 40k on it for 45k + Tax & Registration. I totalled that one in November 2023 with 45k miles on it, the insurance gave me 30k for it.
A few months after I bought that sport Jeep started offering 10+% off new Gladiators; and that made the value of the used ones drop a lot. At that point there were over 900 brand new 2023 Gladiators sitting on dealer lots, they couldn't sell them that is why they offer such a "High" discount.
I just bought my 2020 Gobi Mojave fully loaded (even front trail cam, hard and soft top) with 40k miles on it for $45k + Tax & Registration in December 2023.
The window sticker when new on my Sport was $45k the window sticker on my Mojave when new new was $65k.
They are still offering big discounts on new Gladiators, it is surprising they are trying to find used ones, unless they are looking to pick them up cheap. I wouldn't assume the dealer would give anyone X amount for their gladiator, I would ask them What they will give you and how much they will discount a brand new one.
In the end the dealer is there to make money, only way to know if something it worth it is to get the actual out the door numbers on their trade and the new one....

The dealer my 2015 SS Camaro came from reached out once or twice wanting my car and/or to get me to buy again.

Funny enough, the Jeep dealer I bought my 2016 JK from and my 2022 JT has never contacted me for my vehicles or my additional business that I recall. But they are just about the easiest going dealer I have ever dealt with. Extremely low pressure sales team - laissez-faire I guess you could say. They did give me excellent trade in for my 2013 SS Camaro when I traded it in to get my JK some years back. Turned out the owner really like bright color sports cars and always wanted them for the used lot.

I just bought my 2023 Mojave in Tampa 2 weeks ago with 27 miles on it. I love it. There were plenty of 23's in stock still. Not sure about used as I wanted new. As a previous post said (also from Tampa), mine was almost 15K off the sticker when I walked in. I got WAY more Gladiator than I thought I could. Why buy used when the 23's are the same price??

They will do that - in fact, that was in their original email.
However, then we get back into the bit where I pay full tax on the whole price of a new one, not just trade difference. It can be thousands.
I did get frustrated with the low offer on my Silverado back in 2019 and drove it to a Chevy dealer and walked away with a check (well, they gave me a ride back home) but I got so much more out of selling it to a Chevy dealer than it more than offset the taxes and I still came out ok.
But the price of a new one being in the stratosphere, it would make no sense to sell and then wait months without my vehicle, and then pay Iowa sales tax on the entire price of a new one.

I've come to rely really heavily on this thing - sold my WJ so don't otherwise have a bad weather vehicle or something capable of hauling stuff around, or driving as a daily driver.
Like today - had an appointment early AM - my wife has an all-day thing going on, it's windy, raining, was 30 degrees when I left. I needed this thing.

They are still offering big discounts on new Gladiators, it is surprising they are trying to find used ones,
That would be the case if there were still 2023s around to sell. There aren't - not in our area.
24s are trickling in, 23s gone or all but gone around here, and you can't find used ones.
So someone wanting a Gladiator is pretty much stuck with the 2024 situation.
(the few 23s that are left, if you go out a ways from there searching - slim pickings and you have to like the color and level and options they might have)

If I had NO Gladiator at all and decided, hey, I want one of those - it couldn't happen because they either don't have a level I want or a color I'll take.
Discounts only work if there's a 23 to sell.

We have a lot of new 2023 gladiators at dealership ships around here. So I guess it is really area specific

Two things -
There are 63 "near matches" in what they call "my area".
None of them have all of the features my Overland has, or are very different models. Most are in colors I won't buy or black roof, or have other differences where for me it would actually be a step down. There's nothing around that would be either a straight across move or a notch up.
and (most importantly)-
I see no reason to trade a 22 for a 23. There's nothing to gain as far as features or tech.
I have an example of a 2023 sitting in my garage - the only difference is there aren't any 23 Overland out there and mine has a 2 in the model year while the others have a 3.
Closest matches would be High Altitude - not many of those out there and the very few that are out there, are missing things. Dealers don't sit around with vehicles on the lot loaded up like mine, I guess.

If the 24s were identical to the 22s, I'd have never even gotten curious to see what the heck they did in the 24 models and found out - they no longer make anything like what I have unless I go clear to the very top of the line and even load that up a bit.

The only reason I traded my 20 for a 22 was for things they added to the JT line my 20 didn't have. (and to get some factory options I didn't or could not order in 2019)

I hear you. I wouldn't get rid of my 2020 Mojave for a 2024, unless it has the same exact features and only was 5k more- and that isn't going to happen:CWL::CWL:

If only that were the only differences.......................

For some reason, a 24 Mojave is quieter than my Overland. But - it wasn't windy and the drives were on limited types of surfaces.
It also drove like a much heavier truck - but can't really see that being the case. Might have been the tires?

Seems to me that hydro bump stops only help if jumping sand dunes or otherwise bottoming out - otherwise, you don't touch 'em. At least, I don't see where mine have hit over the years. Even with my plow - my stock stops don't bottom out. I don't see where they've been hitting, and they shouldn't, at least not on most of our roads. So those shouldn't matter a bit for my use.
I'm rather disappointed in my choice of rear shocks for mine - made it a harder ride on many surfaces. Ok on the highway at highway speeds, but driving around unloaded, they aren't meant for a light truck and road use. You feel every twig you run over, but they do fine on bigger things.

My 23 Rubi felt the same, I noticed it immediately on the test drive having just hopped out of my Overland. Tires and Gearing is all I can attribute it to. I don't think the Red shocks are giving me that feel.

I've heard there's more insulation in the windshield header on the 24, but I can't validate that for sure.

You're on point, the Hydros are more in-case-of...but with the Fox being softer, there is more of a chance you'd get into the hydro bump. Not likely necessary, but part of the full experience I guess.

I believe I read a post on here somewhere that mentioned some new molding or something around the front window that reduced road and wind noise. So maybe that is why the one you test drove was quieter.
