Who is Jones and why do they have their own generation?

Didn't know anything about it until about 2 weeks ago.

Generation Jones is a microgeneration born between 1954 and 1965, bridging the Baby Boomers and Generation X. Coined by Jonathan Pontell in 1999, the term reflects a "keeping up with the Joneses" aspiration and a "jonesing" (craving) for better times, defined by coming of age during 1970s economic stagnation rather than 1960s optimism.

I really don't give a flying rats backside what generation I am in. However I have fond memories of BB gun fights, and as I had the only tree fort we were well defended. Yeah few close calls, welts on our face, arms, etc. But at the end of the day we were all still friends.

But if we don’t know your generation how can we relate with you??!! If your BB’s were made in 78 and mine were made in 87 we are MILES apart!!!!!

My buddies and I had a running text thread on this. Unreal. ESPN had previously done a special on this guy because he's on the professional cornhole circuit and he's pretty damn good at it.

I'm not saying there's any good way to die, but it would be hard to explain yourself in the afterlife by claiming to be shot by a guy shaped like a tree stump with no hands. Just sayin'.
