Wait....so if you're OFF ROAD in an area with 0 network coverage, your OFF ROAD pages won't work? Lmao if so. I'll check next time I'm in the middle of nowhere.

This is what I don't understand, ORP works only when a cell signal is available, seems a bit counter-productive as to when I would be using it. In the middle of nowhere is where it will be utilized...Wait....so if you're OFF ROAD in an area with 0 network coverage, your OFF ROAD pages won't work? Lmao if so. Do you have a link to that?I just bought a brand new 8.4 from All Mopar Parts to upgrade from the 7". I'm wondering if I'll have issues with ORP. I have a Jscan and was assuming I could enable ORP through there.
I recommend to PM Benny from all Mopar parts. He’s a forum sponsor here. You send him your VIN and he’ll verify the exact model for you.Do you have a link to that?
Same thing with mine. Factory install. Start the engine and it takes a minute for the page to open. Drive for a few miles. Shut the engine off. Restart, and the icon is gone along with a few other icons. They will come back after 3 to 6 minutes.Interestingly, I have the 8.4" with Nav. installed from the factory. 99% of the time, OffRoad pages works fine. Sometimes I access it to see elevations when traveling, and also to check temps on hot days, and whilst towing my 27', 5,300 lb travel trailer to make sure all is both hunky and dory.
There has been that rare occasion where I go to the screen to activate it after a fuel stop (shut off the truck, go empty one tank....mine, and then fill the other) and the icon has disappeared.
Strange, to say the least.
Next fuel stop after re-start, it appears again.
Has happened a few times...go figger... ? ? ? ? ?
I know mine came out of a 21 and into a 21...specifics on the PCM I am not certain. Those that upgraded to the 8.4 and are missing the engine gauges output on the off road pages, what PCM style do you have? Is it the later GPEC 5 PCM that started showing up in mid 2021 or the legacy PCM?
I did the 8.4 radio upgrade to my July 2021 built Gladiator with the GPEC 5 PCM with a radio out of a late 2020 Gladiator and with Off Road pages enable through JSCAN, I only get the volt and trans temp gauge showing data. All the other engine gauges show no data.
My speculation is if one has the later GPEC 5 PCM but a 8.4 radio pull out of a earlier Gladiator that had the early PCM, the radio software might not be able to interpret the newer GPEC 5 PCM can bus data.
Do you have an SGW bypass of some kind? Try plugging that in and see if you get data on all the gauges. That's what mine does. If I put my ECRI SGW bypass on I get data on all 5 gauges. Take it out and it drops down to 2 gauges with data. Those that upgraded to the 8.4 and are missing the engine gauges output on the off road pages, what PCM style do you have? I have a ESS eliminator that is plugged is as a pass through to my factory SGW module. That maybe the problem. I will have to try and disconnect it and hook it back to factory and see if that fixes it.Do you have an SGW bypass of some kind? Try plugging that in and see if you get data on all the gauges. What did you use to enable JSCAN to program the ORP on your Jeep? I used the ECRI SGW bypass module but you had to have something similar yes? Whatever SGW Bypass you had to enable JSCAN to work is what I'd plug back in temporarily and see if your gauges all work. It does for me anyway. Once I remove the ECRI bypass module and go straight into the Jeep's SGW, I lose all but 2 of my gauges on the ORP.I have a ESS eliminator that is plugged is as a pass through to my factory SGW module. I will try this tomorrow...What did you use to enable JSCAN to program the ORP on your Jeep? I used the ECRI SGW bypass module but you had to have something similar yes? It does. For a long time mine had trouble contacting the gods of the cloud and I didn't have ORP until I got about a mile from home. Seems to work every time now, so we must have better cell reception these days.I also read somewhere that the silly thing tries to do an OTA check to confirm your VIN is allowed to have ORP.
Mine used to have several missing apps until I got a ways from home.Wait....so if you're OFF ROAD in an area with 0 network coverage, your OFF ROAD pages won't work? Lmao if so. I'll check next time I'm in the middle of nowhere.
That would be WEIRD. That's there to prevent access to make changes by simply plugging into the OBD port. Why would that impact this issue? This is INTERESTING!I have a ESS eliminator that is plugged is as a pass through to my factory SGW module. That maybe the problem. I just used a bypass cable and a generic OBDII Bluetooth adapter with JSCAN.What did you use to enable JSCAN to program the ORP on your Jeep?
