Out in the wild. Digging the Mojave....even if I don't have any desert in KY.

You are
Running 12.5 wide,
Correct? I am thinking of putting 12.5 35s on there, on stock wheels, and it gives me pause looking at the rear shocks and exhaust...I already have the JKS disconnects on order, so I’m glad they don’t rub at full stuff...
Correct, 12.5" wide

Are you running the factory wheels? I just went with 315/70/17 on a 17x8.5 with zero offset. Have not had a chance to try them out, hope they don’t rub at full stuff. Stock height Mojave.

For those of you who don’t have someplace covered to keep your Mojaves, the water, after it rains, pools and dried around the hood hinges. It’s no big deal if we keep them cleaned, but if gunk builds up and stays there, it’s probably not good...

Maybe this isn’t the best place for this question, but I am going to ask here and hopefully y’all won’t get mad. From everything I read, the difference between the Mojave and the Rubicon is thicker axle housing, reinforced chassis, stronger spring perches, the trick shocks, the hydraulic bump stops, sitting an inch higher up front, wider track due to the wheels, and lack of locker and electronic sway bar disconnects up front, correct?

I have no intention of taking away what makes it a Mojave, but if somewhere down the line, I wanted to go with different shocks and suspension components, what’s made for a Rubicon for example, those parts should fit, as long as I’m willing to give up what makes it a Mojave? Sometimes I get really attached to my vehicles, so I could see me doing this7-10 years down the line...

Also, I can definitely see me adding a locker up front much sooner than that. There’s no reason that shouldn’t work either, correct? Thanks for y’all’s help. I have read so many threads, and have so much going on in the real world, my mind is fried...

A locker can be installed but the shocks will not bolt right up. The hardware for the Mojave is bigger so you would have to get different shock mount bushings to except the larger bolt to mount them in the Mojave.

OK, gotcha. Didn’t realize that. There’s one thing I didn’t know. Thank you!

Is there a steel bumper (full) actually made for a Mohave that will bolt up with the Mohave skid plate...??

There are some we know for sure will bolt up, but I don’t believe any are currently made specifically for the Mojave.

Thanks..I have made a list that I have read from here the ones that bolt up, but still need some sort of fabrication to keep the original skid plate...Thanks again patiently waiting.

Man my JT will likely live with gunk. I got no garage to put it in, Tree above it and a sprinkler system that goes off 3 x a week which drowns the passenger side of my truck each time. Have tried adjusting the sprinklers to no avail the wind and mist just always cover the truck each morning
