At least there is still the dodge dodge Charger in America. That is the last 4 door v8 that I can think of that is left.
There is the Germans still but yeah who wants those. Chargers only come in automatic so yeah the SS (and the last gen BMW M5) was and probably forever is the last V8 manual RWD sedan.

M3 yes M5 is a twin turbo V8
Just googled it:
M3 is a 6 cyl
M5 is a v8
So I guess M5 and charger is what is left of v8 sedans in USA. But charger is the only mainstream v8 sedan left, German brands aren't very mainstream in the USA (other than vw).

Cadillac with the CTS-V and yes of course German brands aren't very mainstream (in my local area they are) but considering how they market them I am not surprised but that is changing slowly. The Germans in all fairness have always had very competitive lease offers that average people can afford.

Considering how their values drop like a stone that might be a smarter financial decision methinks.

The JL shutdown to retool for the hybrid engine has been moved up. We will now be shutdown April 18th to May 13th. (subject to change). We are working 7 days a week until then.

The Government order for just over 7k JT's has been verified. These 7k units must be built before any can be sold to public consumers. JT is going to go on a critical launch mandatory 7 days a week for up to 3 months if needed to complete orders. No announcement on when the launch will start. Rumor is 2-3 weeks.

Some of you know that this is the last year of our contract. If you have heard anything that happened during the last contract then you know there was a lot of corruption with both FCA and UAW. Some people have went to prison and some are still being investigated. There is a lot more to it but to much to explain. UAW has increased the strike fund and we all have been told to put some extra money away because it's very likely that we will be striking. Negotiations don't start until end of summer. I personally hope that we don't strike but we are not going to let FCA continue taking things away from us.
HIGHJACKED ! JLENGINELINE, come in . . . your fading . . . switch comms to . . . ? eTorque implementation ? 7000 status ?
Any changes to production shutdown time ? Color options late availability dates ? Is Manley manly ?
Kidding .
We love you despite some grumblings !

I did . . . wanted it to reflect the SAME as over at the JL Forum - the picture didn't ring a bell (same) ?
Way back when I was "into" the 2.0L eTorque but had a change of heart to the reliable proven 3.6. IF improvements in design installation of the 48v battery pack + hoses & wiring happen, with eventual application in the JL (as indicated) or future in the JT, then I'd reconsider that ! But for now, as in my G.C. - the 3.6 w/ESS is "OK" ! Only wish it had more torque, and in the case of the JT, an additional 10hp as well (to at least match the G.C.'s).

Ok so if people are largest expense, health care, retirement, why does this thing cost more than 10 grand? Built by robots.
aren't they spending like $4 Billion to make a factory for the Grand Wagoneer?

Robots be pricey!

Dodge charger is same as Chrysler 300. Chrysler just has a different face and fancier interior.
