I can’t understand why there are some people who just can’t pass up a thread. Just by reading the title, you already know you are going to make some sort of smartass remark. What’s the point?? Do y’all need to be on some sort of medication? Is it an addiction? Is there a proper name for “oh this person didn’t research the subject before posting”itis? Or are y’all just Jeep Gladiator Karens??
C’mon…
You’ve been around long enough to know nobody can pass up a good Oil Thread!

Well, you did throw the bait out there ...
... so you can't possibly be surprised that some people are taking it.

Good point. But it is an honest question. I traded in my 2020 before the free oil changes ran out. The 2021 came with just 3 and my wife says I’m not trading this one in.

Hmm... that reminds me... I need to rotate the 35's on my non-stock O'land...

I'm going to need an oil change soon too, but I think I'll stick to MOPAR filter and Mobil1... at least until the warranty is done...

I'm taking the click bait...

Mopar MO-349 Filter with 5 quarts Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 on the JT. I change every 5K on each of my vehicles. I also check all fluids, filters, tires and look everything over top to bottom. Rotations are generally every 6K miles for me.

I have no intention of using my free oil changes. ;)

I use my free ones because honestly, they do a good job and it's free.

Oil - same as you or Mobil 1 - which I've been using in my other Jeep engines for years.

I go by how they are tested and rated, not what's popular or the in thing or peer pressure stuff.

I grew up up using Pennzoil in our vehicles. My grandpa wouldn’t think of using anything else in the farm trucks.

That's what my family used for years.
I've used Kerr-McGee, Havoline, QS and Mobil 1 for the most part,
but Pennzoil is on my short list as well. It tests out well - and it's Pennzoil who provides the oil to MOPAR.
